"Oh, of course you defend him." Nastia wipes away her argument and hugs her even closer. Her glance seems to pierce him, when she hears his teasing tone. "That's not funny." Nastia says and Naomi chuckles, getting an angry look of her friend for this.
"Not much of a punishment? But... but he spanked you and... why did you cry then?" Nastia says confident she found a good argument. "Spanked to tears, that's harsh." Naomi agrees, who regained her selfcontrol and shows a serious face.

The boy scratched his neck at this, in more of a pestered way than a sheepish one. He wasn't sure if he would even say anything to that. He respected the girl's opinion, but still didn't particularly care what they thought about his family life. He felt little need to defend it somehow. "You're entitled to think that, then," he said very bluntly. "To be frank, you're acting like you know my family a lot better than you actually do."
He said the words with no real aggression, but felt they needed to be said.
Kagome shifted and stood up, breaking from the hug. There was a bit of quiet anger in how she stood. Her eyes shifted to the side, looking away awkwardly. The girl sighed and spoke. "...I...c-cry easily, okay? He um...ugh..." the girl was very embarassed by the situation. "...The pain isn't even part of the reason I cry when I get spanked. O-okay? It just...I feel like a jerk when I put my brother in that situation. It doesn't happen often, he normally just grounds me. But...I don't like making him cry and-"
"Woah woah woah." Kouken got up and hugged his little sister, blushing a bit. "It's okay, I think you made you're point, okay?" he said patting her back.
