It'd been a few years since Azula was incarcerated, and she seemed to have finally stabilized... at least, as far as the deposed princess gets. It was a comfortably warm, sunny day, at about noon, when she was brought from her cell and led to the prison courtyard. Indeed, the sudden brightness may even sting her eyes a bit. She'd been told that she would be given a "conditional" release, but the exact terms haven't been explained to her yet, leaving her to merely guess at what will happen to her.

Waiting for her in the courtyard were some of her brother's "companions," Katara and Toph. In Katara's hand was a scroll. They approached her, Katara at least trying to keep a friendly expression on her face. Toph, on the other hand... she was grinning from ear to ear, as if inwardly laughing at some secret joke.

"Azula," Katara began, remaining diplomatic despite her distaste for this, "I've been asked to explain to you how this is going to work. As of right now, you're under our custody... we're here to take you out of here to start your reentry into society."

Katara shook her head and opened the scroll, holding it out for her to read - she didn't entirely trust her not to try to destroy it. "It's all right there, Azula." And sure enough, it was true. In fact, not only was it true, but the conditions of her release included that she has to do what they tell her... and that they have the right to take "corrective action" if they feel she deserves it.

Azula frowned as she read the scroll and reliezed that it was all true. "Corrective Action? What are you going to do... throw rocks at me?" Azula asked laughing a bit

Toph grinned a little wider. "Whatever we want, Princess. Oh, I'm gonna enjoy this!"she says, the gears in her head already turning.

"Toph, don't forget we're trying to teach her to respect other people."
