What Drives You Postal?
We all have that one thing that drives us absolutely mental when someone brings it up. What's yours?
For me, it's my eye twitch. Every now and again my eyes will shift focus in and out, and it causes them to shudder strangely. I'm very sensitive about it, and get instantly annoyed whenever someone points it out.

When my boss uses words like "Dude!" or "Gnarly!"
Geez, talk like an adult.

Re: What Drives You Postal?
When people use text/internet acronyms in live/real life speech. Ugh one of my sisters constantly in mid-conversation says "LOL" when she thinks something is funny... just laugh damn it...... don't abbreviate it! plus.... you're not even laughing out loud! A couple of my little brother's friends do that too literally say 'brb' 'lmao' 'ttyl' instead of the words... really people? I can kind of understand using it online and i definitely understand in text because it's faster... but when you're talking?! you just sound like a ditz stuck in a fad trying to be cool and failing.

Re: What Drives You Postal?
It absolutely drives me nuts when the prosecution system in Canada is strict with one individual of a crime but for one reason or another are lenient to another.
I was just reading something in the newspaper yesterday.
A lady was mass stealing product from superstore(much like walmart). A total value of just over $19,600 worth of stuff.
Here's a pic of a few of the items they took from her.

she was convicted last week. She got 2 years probation. No fine, no nothing.
That drives me nuts!

Re: What Drives You Postal?
People who suddenly pull their car out in front of you in traffic, then drive slow when they know you can't pass them.

Re: What Drives You Postal?
Related to Circe's. People who are driving slower than you, but, after you pass them, somehow feel the need to be ahead of you anyway and then pass you just to go back to being slower again. As if they can't stand the idea of someone being ahead of them, even if the other person is going faster than they would be going themselves.

Re: What Drives You Postal?
When people miss use words. Every time I hear the news guy say the economy is anemic I just start twitching. I want to call in and tell them that word dose not mean what they thank it means.

Right now, I have an ear infection that is driving me completely nuts. The deafness in one ear, I can take, but the constant pain is killing me!

Re: What Drives You Postal?
When friends or even family avoid you, or don't talk to you for months and months but the second they need something (borrow money, need their computer fixed, need a ride to this place or that one), suddenly they call you out of the blue all "hey how are you i miss you how you been? And you know damn well....... in your head you're thinking "what do you need me to do for you?" - LOOK PEOPLE, I'M NOT HERE AS A PROBLEM SOLVING TOOL! If you want me to be there in that area, you've got to want me to be there on a regular basis when everything is cool.
And on that note but to a lesser degree, friends who NEVER are the first to call you. You have to be the one to make plans every time. They don't call up hey wanna go do this or that? they sit and wait for you to. REALLY? HOW BOUT YOU MAKE THE PLANS AND INVITE ME FOR ONCE!
And on that note... people who can never make up their mind so they make you do it. 'What movie do you wanna see?' "Hmmm oh, i don't know so many to choose from, why don't you pick?" 'Oh no, i picked the last two.' "oh but you always make good choices and i really don't know." 'where do you wanna eat after the movie' "oh i don't know wherever you wanna go is fine." 'What do you wanna do today?' "Hmm i dunno, what do you wanna do?' FOR GOD'S SAKE HAVE YOU EVER HAD AN ORIGINAL THOUGHT? MAKE UP YOUR OWN DAMN MIND AND STICK WITH IT!
Okay, figured i'd make this one post instead of a few lol, this issues aren't uncommon in my life so... they can be pretty irritating.

ugh, ya i hate partial deafness too! I get it pretty much every time I go swimming. Discovered a cure though. Flush with vinegar (i have used this though I hear hydrogen peroxide works as well I haven't used that, I have also used lemon juice though) then apply a few drops of low percentage rubbing alcohol to dry up (not too high percentage or there's a mild burning sensation which can be annoying). I would not however try this if you're sure you have an infection... I've only used it when I was positive I didn't.
