Addeni Iori, a former high ranking officer was walking through a dark forest. The trees blocked any moonlight from the bed and it forced the 18-year-old to use a fire she created in her hand. It was small and delicate. Normally quick to her feet hearing an unfamiliar sound she made the fire glow brighter, illuminating her face, slightly pale and having abyss-like hair covered in an officer's hat, crimson red with a black rim.

Addeni glanced around with her red eyes and sighed as she felt like her lithe frame wasn't suited for this environment, "Why did I think it was a good idea to come here...?" she thought out loud and closed her eyes for a second, taking in the cool, crisp night air, "At least the air's nice..." she commented in her soft voice.

Suddenly, from up ahead, there was a bright flash. What looked like a shooting star was tumbling from the sky, roaring to earth at great speed, seeming to coming right for her... and as it passed, she realised that it was screaming. "SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!"

Addeni winced when she saw the sudden flash and covered her eyes. As the...meteor? passed the young officer her hat flew off as she closed her eyes tighter, "What was that...?" she turned in the direction the screaming meteor had flown past and began to run in that direction. Felling the air press against her pale face she continued running until she encountered the crash site and began to walk, panting softly to catch her breath, she steeled herself for whatever it could be.

"Ow..." said a voice from the crater, as a figure pushed itself up from the wreckage. "I should never fly coach..." It was a woman, dressed in a close-fitting white and blue leather suit, her brown hair cropped short and her face marked by a series of blue circles.

Addeni slid down the crater the moment she heard someone yelping. Uncaring that her hat was departed she stood face to face with the figure, as dark as it was, she held a fire up to the figure's face so they both could take in each other's figures. "Are you alright?" she asked in her usual soft tone.

The girl whirled and kicked her to the ground. Before Addeni could move, she felt the blade of a halberd being pressed against her throat. "Who are you? The woman demanded, murder in her eyes. "Whre am I? What the fuck just happened?" She glared at her, clearly expecting an answer.

Addeni winced and fell to the ground. As she tried to get up she quickly fell back down because the halberd was pointed at her throat. Slowly, Addeni glanced to her right to notice her own Claymore was knocked away before staring up at the woman, "...You're in a dark forest, and I don't know... you're the one that crashed nearby me. I-I was just checking to see if you wanted any help but you showed hostility already. Addeni replied, her abyss-colored hair partly covering her right eye from the skirmish.

Temeraire frowned but sensing that she was telling the truth, she removed the blade. "I apologize... I didn't man to be so rude". She paused. "What is your name?"

Addeni sat up and pulled her knees to her chest, "Don't worry about it..." she looked up at the woman before standing up and stretching, "My name is Addeni," she conjured a small fire again to illuminate the darkness, "And... what should I address you as?" she asked.
