That happens, there have been plenty of times where I found out about concerts after they happened. I was going to see Dir En Grey perform in San Fransisco a few weeks ago, only to find out that the concert had already happened the week before. It sucks that generally speaking, if you want to go to a show, you ususally have to look up the band's touring scedule and showtimes weeks or even months in advance. Unless there playing locally and you see a flyer or something like that.
