The Bully and His Landlord (for slind23456)

Trevor looked over the slightly crumpled page of paper he had printed out, double checking the address that was on it. He had always had a lousy sense of directions, so he'd been careful to leave with plenty of time. He was also generally pretty bad at time keeping, so he'd overcompensated and arrived half an hour early. It was okay though, as long as he wasn't late. He figured that arriving early was better than arriving late. He really needed a place to stay, his previous landlord wanted to sell his flat instead of renting it out and he only had a few days to find somewhere. He also needed a job, badly. This place had both.

It was a one bedroom flat located not too far away from the city centre. The landlord was looking for a tenant who could move in as soon as possible. They had also posted a notice for someone to do various jobs around the building. Mainly basic maintenance stuff. Cleaning the hallways, fixing any breakages that didn't need outside help, and dealing with complaints when the landlord was busy.

Trevor had been so desperate for somewhere to stay that he had barely looked at the name of the person who had posted the ad online. They had just posted their last name, but if he had noticed it, he might have recognised it from his past. It was the same surname as a guy he had picked on in high school. Trevor had never been a straight A student. He wasn't dumb, but he was notoriously mischievous as a youth. He preferred to have fun than to study. Unfortunately for others who had been in his class, this often meant having fun at their expense. Now, as a young man, Trevor had paid the price for not sticking to school. He was in dire need of a source of income and a roof over his head.

He rang the buzzer for the landlord's apartment and waited for the response.

Matthew sighed as he waited for the man who was coming for his interview. Thanks to careful planning and his own intelligence, Matthew had been able to manage his money well after school, and he currently owned quite a few apartment complex's throughout the area. He recognized the name on the resume, and as soon as he put the pieces together he figured he should take advantage of the new situation. The man coming for an interview was the man who had bullied him numerous times throughout high school, and Matthew figured he may as well see if he could use this situation to his advantage.

His revenge would depend on Trevor's desperation. Although Matthew wasn't a heartless monster, he figured that having Trevor work for him could give him leverage over the other man. If Trevor wanted to work there, he'd have to be willing to lose his dignity and bend over Matthew's lap for the hardest spanking of his life. Of course Matthew would be sure to tell Trevor that wouldn't be the last of them, but if Trevor could take the abuse to his bottom then he'd have a place to live and a place to work.

Matthew heard the buzzer and responded as quickly as he could. "Hello? How may I help you?" He said over the intercom. He figured it should be Trevor, but he had to make sure.

For a moment Trevor thought the voice over the intercom sounded familiar, but it was a little grainy due to static and he couldn't be sure.
"It's Trevor. The guy who answered the ad online," He replied.

He fidgeted slightly and ran his hand through his blond hair, neatening it up a little. He didn't know why he was nervous. Generally speaking he was quite a confident guy, but there was something that he felt like he was forgetting, or something that made him feel like he'd missed a vital part of information about this whole set up.

He dismissed it though. Whatever it was, he would deal with it. He needed this flat and this job, any small print that he'd missed... He would just deal with it as it came.

"Ah, yes. Come on in." Michael pressed the button to open the door. He took a deep breath and leaned back in his chair. He doubted Trevor would remember him, but that's just because he knew the other man was so self-focused it was almost impossible for him to think of others.

Trevor went into the flat and up the stairs to the floor that Matthew was on.
"Hey there." He said with a smile. It was clear that he didn't recognise him at all. It had been quite a few years, and as Matthew had predicted, Trevor had never been too good at remembering people.

He was quite a handsome man, and a little vain about it, and the people he'd picked on in high school sort of all merged into one person in his head.

Matthew wasn't surprised, but he had to get his plan moving. "Take a seat, Trevor." He smiled. He figured he should get straight to the point. It wasn't like he wanted to sit here forever just to listen to Trevor talk about himself. "It's been quite a while since I last saw you, but I think if you're willing to agree to my terms you can stay and work here."

Trevor went inside the flat and sat down opposite of Matthew.
"Huh? Do I know you?" He seemed genuinely surprised and began trying to place where he might know Matthew from. He didn't have a very memorable face, to him.

"We went to high school together. I figured you wouldn't remember me though." Matthew figured that would be enough to imply that Trevor was bad to him in school, but he wasn't sure if Trevor would be able to comprehend the situation.

"Really?"
Trevor looked thoughtful. He was going through his classmates in his head, trying to recall a kid who looked like Matthew.
After a good few seconds he suddenly remembered. "Ah... Yeah, I remember you."

He couldn't remember much of him, but he had some vague memories of him stealing his school uniform during the showers after gym class.

Matthew gave Trevor a look before continuing. "Right, well, I'll get to the point then. How much do you need this job?" He figured if Trevor was desperate, he'd agree no matter what conditions were applied.
