Tidus' group was hunting down Sin -- as usual. But every time they found the creature things just seemed to mess up and they couldn't kill it. But this time they were certain that they could actually defeat and kill the monster. Or so they thought, cause this time around it there were several... shadow-made? Creatures around the beast. The shadow monsters varied in shapes and sizes, and from a race they had never found before: the Heartless.

Until that moment both Yuna and Lulu had been back, talking to each other about a very important thing: Yuna and Tidus. Well, it wasn't really Yuna's choice to do so, but Lulu was like a big sister to her and she felt comfortable enough with her to talk about such things.

A robed teen by the name of Rhei floated across this strange forest that he never seen before. He had of course SEEN forests but not one like this before, right next to many oceans and mountains. Where was he for starters... but where were his family? They must be here somewhere as the worlds' inhabitants assured that there were no sightings of them but death was never a thought to have. Hope lied in every corner like light.

Within a second, both dark creatures appeared; the Sin AND the Heartless. They purged from the ground, ready to pounce upon the two young ladies.

Lulu wasn't ready for what happened next, and let alone Yuna. In a blink of an eye Sin -- the creature their little group had been looking for -- popped out of nowhere. But this time it wasn't alone: several dark, shadowy creatures appeared along with the powerful monster. The Dark things were shaped in different forms and sizes, but if there was something they had in common (besides being shadow-like) was their not so friendly appearance.

"Shit... Back off, Yuna! Get ready" Lulu was quick and pushed them both out of the way as an attack was sent. Both girls quickly got ready for combat, neither of them noticing Rhei's presence.

Rhei still made his way over the trees, eyes currently on the ground below. Emerald eyes went from every clearing he could find in between these bushes of leaves and branches. Would they be here or anywhere... he must find them one way or another. With gritted teeth, he carried on searching from a bird's-eye view... but then his eyes were immediately set on the one type of enemy that he always hated since his younger years; the Heartless!

But what were those other creatures too? They resembled the Heartless slightly... but he couldn't put his finger on them. Oh well. More asses to kick. So he landed straight on the ground, flat of his feet painlessly hitting the ground, and the Glider becoming an emerald illuminating Keyblade.

"Shotgun on the Heartless!"

Right now, all Lulu wanted was a chance for them to get away. She had never seen monsters like these before, and Sin being there wasn't helping either. She was quick to summon her animated dolls, which soon engaged the monsters in combat. Of course they would never stand a chance by themselves, but that's where Yuna came in. She was standing a few steps back wielding Nirvana.

Alongside Lulu's dolls, Yuna's aeons were soon summoned and brought onto battle against the Heartless. They avoided attacking Sin for now and used some of the summons to distract it while they tried to take out the shadowy monsters. And then, as they battled and cast magic in order to help their summonings, both girls heard a voice which made them turn away for a second to see a boy with a strange... key? A giant key glowing green. Was that a weapon?

"Who is that?"

Rhei stood near the small team with his Keyblade keeping the Heartless at bay. The dark creatures knew that this boy was one of those hero boys with the key sword and they were sent to attack anyone who stands in their way, including HIM. So without further ado, the Heartless swarmed around the boy but he immediately sprang into action, battering each creature away with his weapon, grinning as he raced from side to another.

Yuna noticed how swift this guy was, as he obviously been training hard to fight against these new types of creatures. That weapon wasn't ignored as it looked rather odd yet intriguing at the same time. Wakka had a ball as a weapon, Lulu had her dolls and powers... but a key?

Interesting...

"Be careful!" Lulu called out as her animated dolls helped Rhei in taking out the Heartless. But they weren't the only problem; Sin was quickly done with Yuna's aeons, and soon joined the battle. Both Lulu and Yuna knew there was no defeating Sin in combat with only the three of them there. They needed Tidus and Wakka, but at least this strand boy was holding on pretty well.

At the same time she was worried about Yuna and the unknown boy, she was also confused with his weird weapon, but at least it looked like he knew what he was doing. "What are this things, anyway? I've never seen such creatures"

"N'yargh! Heartless!" Rhei called out, jumping from one spot to another, ramming his blade through the machine with one swipe. Some however such as the Arabian warriors and the clunky-looking knights stayed intact as these were slightly stronger, though. Rhei gritted his teeth as he jumped back to gain some space and then fired a bunch of fire spells to blast some away. "Darkness in everyone's souls, they feed off people's hearts!"

But as he fired his weapon like a shotgun, he stopped and looked up to see a avian figure of divinity swoop down from the sky. "What the heck is that THING? A bird?!"

Lulu and Yuna made a good team, and that was proven as they worked perfectly with their dolls and aeons helping them balance the outnumbering. They of course heard Rhei's explanation, but weren't able to answer since they both needed to stay focused for now. But when Sin finally prepared to attack, it was a different story. "Get out of the way! Sin is too powerful, there's no way we can beat him."

Yuna was also worried, she knew they needed to retreat. "Hey, we need to fall back!" Her yell was also directed to the boy helping them fight the creatures.

Rhei looked over his shoulder with gritted teeth and a glare, standing in his very spot. "Hell no! Those Heartless and other guys aren't outmatc-UGH!" He was caught off guard as a Sin back handed him, causing the young teen to fall back with a grunt. He would put up a better fight, so he lifted his Keyblade and released a barrage of lightning to all the Heartless.

It worked, but more were approaching without end. Rhei tried to scamper back, conjuring all kinds of spells clumsily like fire and ice, but while some worked the other times they would just hit the ground or trees.
