I just realized that we, female artists, are a strong percentage in aotk. Considering that femaels are minority in this site its quite amusing XD

However, I'm not sure that females are a minority among visitors (though they are among active members)
After checking on a site where you can mark certain interests, like S/M , more females have marked it on their profile than males...
Of course it's just a little hungarian dating site, and not marking doesn't mean not having a fetish, but anyway it made me think.

I'm actually not surprised at the percentage of female artists there are, particularly if the drawings are yaoi in nature. :P Not saying men don't like spanking art (or yaoi). I just don't think it surprises me. Besides, I could never hope to draw anything as awesome the female artists on this site. :P

Well it's obvious. XD We females are needing to express ourselves anyway, we have more urge to do it! <3 The guys I know, they could sit with their guy friends and be like "Yeah I like spanking my girl" Where as us girls have a hard time even saying the word "Spanking" sometimes. XD

Not really, I am a fan of getting a spanking myself once in a while, even if 90% of the time I am the spanker. We should all switch up sometimes. ^__^

But yes, I do find it interesting that you ladies have a big percentage of the artistry. Go you gals! I probably wouldn't be here if it weren't for some of your arts.

To be honest it seems to me most fan art and things of that nature on the net comes from female artists. Not really sure why. Just turns out that way I guess.

I think the resome why girls are the minority on this site is simply because our culture brings us up with that it's okay for guys to show 'sexual' interest where as for girls it's some sort of taboo. I know it took me years just to get the guts to draw an outlining of a possible spanking scene yet alone watch a cartoon with spanking in it without blushing and looking away.
