Hello all! So I'm something of a long time lurker who is hoping to finally come out and do some rp on this site. I do have a fair amount of rp experience, just haven't done so here. I generally prefer to play female characters if F/f scenarios, however I am usually willing to at least discuss other set ups. I tend towards OC's made for the story however I'm willing to try my hand at some characters I'm particularly familiar with. When it comes to age I'm pretty flexible and will usually go for what fits best in the story and the other players preference.
As for the story ideas I have a fair few but I'm also open to trading thoughts if anyone has some.
The Leading Role: My character would be an actress getting her first big part. However she's caught by surprise by just what her part entails and the extend to which she is expecting to perform her own "stunts." (An amusing twist might be to have her life outside the show slowly start to include the possibility of smacked bottoms due to the events on the set.)
The Mod Pack: This one would be in the near future, with my character having made the mistake of trying out a mod pack for her favorite vr game without reading up on everything it changes. (The details of the game are open for discussion, pretty much anything goes there.)
The Legend: Ever seen an anime or read a book where a character from a modern setting somehow ends up in a medieval fantasy setting as some sort of promised hero or summoned champion? Well this is basically like that, except with her modern habits leading to sore bottoms instead of just comments about how strange they are. (Could also be amusing for the "hide the princess for her safety" trope. Nothing quite like need to learn to learn to be the perfect royal after growing up a peasant or in another culture.)
The Hero: Pretty straight forward, my character would be a new would be super hero trying to fight crime and the forces of evil. Of course she would run into trouble and begin to develop a reputation for not only failing to stop the villains, but ending up in awkward or embarrassing situation that usually involve a red rear. (A fun variation would also be an aspiring villain who keeps getting caught by the good guys.)
The Local Laws: While visiting family or on vacation my character learns that the local laws not only allow but strongly encourage anyone to apply discipline to people in her age range as they see fit. (An amusing twist might be to include a lot of local customs and beliefs she knows nothing about and seems to keep ending up on the wrong side of them.)
The Social Experiment: My character is sent to what they believe is a normal summer camp to be part of some kind of low budget reality show. In actuality she has been sent to a reform camp with her files listing her as a serious trouble maker and trickster for an experiment to see how people interpret actions based on preconceptions. (Would probably work just as well with a reform school or other similar setting, just figured people probably do camps less often.)
The Unfortunate Bet: My character makes a bet concerning getting an item or piece of information from a specific person or group before the end of summer. Unfortunately the person she bet cheated and informed the third party who is now manipulating every encounter into my character inadvertently agreeing to or asking for a smacked bottom. (Might be fun to add a bit of magic, making on or more of the involved parties a witch/genie/fey to allow for more amusing tricks.)
The Best Boss: After stealing some nice clothes and sneaking into an interview meant for someone else my character attempts to BS her way into a job she isn't really qualified for. Of course her would be boss figures her out and offers a different position, one that includes room, board, and a very strict code of conduct. (Depending on the age of my character I could see this as being either a college drop out trying to con her way into a good job or a runaway orphan trying to pass for an adult.)
The Casino: Just an amusing thought. Basically once you enter they wont let you leave until you've paid off any debt to the house, including a small entrance fee. At any table they will supply you with a small amount of chips, added to your total debt, but if you don't have at least those when you stand up you get a small spanking. Unfortunately it is a small amount of chips, if you want to have enough to really do anything with you can get more by making the spanking potentially worse. This is an idea that is more just the setting right now without a story so plenty of directions it could go.
The Halfling: In a classic fantasy setting my character would be an adventuring halfing (or some other small race like gnomes) who after some misfortune is taken in by humans who think they are a child.
The Gauntlet: Kind of a mix between Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? and Dog Days. Using magic, or science if you prefer sci-fi, adventurers can be recorded during their monster slaying and damsel rescuing. Adventuring is now treated as a mix between a professional sport and a reality show some villains have even started getting into it and making deals to make sure failed heroes can get revived (and their recordings recovered) in exchange for similar concessions. Now some adventure organizer has had the great plan for a younger hero (or group) to appeal to a younger audience, however due to fears for the would be hero(s) they hire a villain who will go out of their way to make the peril they face more... age appropriate.
The Rejuve: Yeah some aspects of rejuve can be fun as long as you stay away from other parts. The idea in this case however is for a non-penny rejuve to get treated at least partially like a penny. Have a few thoughts on the how and why that can be tossed around.
Academy for the Mad, Wicked, and Otherwise Morally Challenged: Essentially a reform school for young villains. Could focus on day to day life there or have it as a background element for a villain who keeps escaping so some times they get caught and sent there for a bit and other times they catch a punishment but slip away before they can be sent back.
The Freshman: Due to a rising number of prodigies and child geniuses entering colleges early one school sets up a program to room them with juniors and seniors who have volunteered to be their "big siblings" for the semester. One such volunteer missed the notice however that her would be younger sibling didn't end up coming that semester after all, leaving her to misjudge the age of the freshmen roommate she is assigned and thus begins treating her as she would a child in her charge. .
