I jump up in my seat and blush quietly. "Um...can you repeat the question again, ma'am?" I ask quietly. The other kids in class laugh at me. I glare angrily, trying not to cause a scene in class

I gulp and sit quietly. More class work? Gross. "Yes they will be" I lied. Honestly, my parents would probably be working late again, like they do every night. They wouldn't know I had detention unless Mrs. Yugi called and told them. And if she did, that would just lead to me being grounded at home

I sit in silence, waiting for my school work and to hear the phone call. "Mrs. Yugi... I was distracted because I had to ask you something after class..."

I stare at my feet a little, this was awkward. She was already upset with me, what if she thought I was weird and tols the other teachers? "Um... so as you noticed I have been acting out a lot lately in all of my classes. Been a real problem child...I was wondering if... if we can make an arrangement, so I can be a good girl again"
