I had an idea a while ago of an RP set in the pokemon universe: a young gym leader is found to be living by himself and it's immediately adressed because he's still to young to not have someone looking after him, so in the end he is sent to live with someone who'll take care of him as their own child while he keeps up his duties as a gym leader. Of course, he is used to do things his way and without rules (plus, the prestige of being an official gym leader doesn't help), which means sometimes he'll have to be reminded that he's still a kid with a bottom vulnerable to being punished.
My idea is that the adopted gym leader would be either
Bugsy or
Allister since they seem to fit the age range I'd like to see, plus they could also have their own personality that can cause trouble (Bugsy being really smart and into research, Allister being a loner who preffers to spend time in old buildings). As for the parent, I'm okay with either gender, or even if you want to take the role of another canon character.
