Harry Potter: Raising trouble ( For Barbossasdaughter)

It was time for another sorting ceremony again. Severus Snape had a reason to be a bit more excited for this one since his daughter was due to attend the first year of Hogwarts. He was seated next to Rolanda Hooch, the quidditch instructor of the school. " Are you looking forward to this year, Rolanda?" the dark haired man asked his colleague. He watched as his young daughter got the Sorting Hat placed on her head. A brief look of happiness showed on his face once the Hat called out the name of the house she would be sorted into.


Jack Bellwood had been chatting animatedly with a girl his own age ever since they both got off the train together. They were now both standing in line for the Sorting Hat. " Where do you hope to get picked to?" he asked his new friend as he ran a hand through his brown hair. " I hope to get sorted into Hufflepuff, myself." the boy said softly to the girl in front of him. A rather hopeful glint could be seen in the boys ocean blue eyes.

Madame Hooch smiled. “Well it’s going to be an interesting year. I got myself a young student to look after. His name is Jack.” She said and smiled as she looked for the boy.

Sandy had been quite excited. Finally the day was there! Her father had brought her to the train and told her to behave. As she looked for a place, she saw a young boy. They began to chat and got off together. “Ah well Slytherin!” She proudly said. “My father is head of house and Slytherin is the best.” She chuckled. “Well at least not Gryffindor. They’re often very arrogant. The Puffs often get underestimated but they’re quite good.” She aaid.

As she was called, she sat down and smiled brightly. “SLYTHERIN!” Ohhh! She stood up proudly and gleamed at her father.

Madame Hooch looked at the young boy as she was called up as well.

" Ah, yes...you told me about that. Seems like the two of them are getting along well, already." Snape said and gave his daughter a smile and a nod to show her that he was proud of the house she got into. " We have to keep an eye on them to make sure they behave, though. You know how children can be sometimes." the man wearing an all-black attire told the silver haired woman next to him.


" I hope I don`t get into Gryffindor, either. They do seem arrogant...and Ravenclaw is just dull." Jack reasoned to Sandy before she got the Sorting Hat placed on her. He took a short breath as the brown hat was placed on his own head. It took a couple of second before " Hufflepuff!" came from it mouth. Jack had a giant grin on his face as he rejoined Sandy. " Good job! We both got the houses we wanted." the now Hufflepuff stated. He glanced up at Madam Hooch, giving her a smile, as well.

“Oh you know me Severus, I can be harsh when it has to be. Too often I have to deal with unruly students while Flying.” She answered the man. She knew he was stern and very much so with his daughter.

Sandy smiled and congratulated Jack. “Well I hope we have classes together! Like potions and Defense against Dark Arts.” She said, having inherited her father’s interests.

The feast began and Sandy got to her seat at the Slytherin table. She greeted the students and grabbed some food. Ohhh she better also get some desserts, as her father was not supervising her.

Madame Hooch got her food and enjoyed the feast. She then got over to Jack as he was done so far as well. “I’d like to show you where you can find me in case you need it.”
She also wanted to tell him certain rules. They had been together a few days for the shopping and such, but she didn’t really had time for a serious tslk.

Severus had found himself to think of the feast as decent enough, but what he wanted the most now was to check up on his daughter. " I`m proud of you, love. Slytherin is where you belong." he stated to his daughter and patted her head. " Come with me." he said and gestured towards his quarters. " I want you to be at your best behavior now, ok? You know what will happen if you are naughty, don`t you." the powerful wizard cautioned his daughter.


Jack was happy to indulge in the various foods the feast presented. He glanced up to see Rolanda motioning for him to join her. The boy nodded and walked after the female. " Ok, thank you." he said softly, just feeling happy to have someone to look after him in the school. The boy only had an uncle as a guardian, but he was quite unreliable. Jack had gotten accepted into Hogwarts, but had no one around. He had accidentially stumbled onto Madame Hooch in a street, and he had gotten attached to her ever since before the school year began. " Wow...you have a nice place, miss Hooch." he quipped to the Quidditch instructor.

Sandy could just push a spoonful of cake into her mouth before her father came. She followed him and did duck down as he mentioned what would happen. “Uh I..guess detention..” she uttered not wanting to speak out the dreadful spanking.

“Well those are my quarters and my office, though most times I am outside and weekends we have Quidditch games.” She said. “But this all in due time. What is more important...are rules.” She told the boy and offered a seat. “Any break of rules will be investigated and if bad enough, as your guardian, I will find a punishment. That can be anything from lines to a spanking.” She said

Severus shook his head, making his long dark hair move a bit. " No, young lady. You know very well that any bad behaviour you do will earn you a spanking with me. I expect you to be studious and at your best behaviour while you`re here at Hogwarts, am I clear?" the Potions teacher said to his daughter in a firm tone of voice.


Jack sat down on the chair that Madame Hooch offered to him. " Ooh, I hope I can be on Hufflepuffs quidditch team." the boy exclaimed excitedly. He gasped at what the silver haired woman said next, though. " What? A spanking? Isn`t that kinda...old fashioned?" the boy asked his caretaker, even if he knew that she was a bit old fashioned.

Sandy groaned. “Really? For everything?” Oh dear! But well she would not let this ruin her fun. “Alright. I understand father.” She still followed her father. “But I can still come to you if I have some issues right? Hmn?” She asked and looked up.

“In due time.” She said but smiled at his enthusiasm. “Old-fashioned? Maybe. But it’s very effective. I got very good results with it.”

Snape nodded to his daughter. " You know what consequences naughtiness will bring, Sandy." he said to her in a slight warning. His somewhat strict town shifted at the young Slyhterin girls next question, however. A small smile showed on his palce face as he ruffled his daughters hair. " Of course you can, love. You can come to me with whatever troubles you or if you need some advice." he said in a softer tone.


Jack couldn`t help but giggle. " I hope I`ll be one of the best players Hogwarts has ever seen. I want to make you proud of me." the boy said softly. A soft blush coloured his face as the female mentioned that spankings were quite effective. " I-I`ll try not to make you use it on me then...I`ll try to stay out of trouble." the boy said in a slightly flustered tone of voice.

Sandy smiled. Ha! She still was able to get a smile from her father. “I promise I will.” She said. “I guess no more sleepovers at your place? I have my bed now in Slytherin right? I still know where your office is.”

“Very good. That’s what I like to hear.” Her tone softened up. “I never like to spank, I just want my children to be safe.” She said. “Whenever you need me you can come. Alright?” She mentioned Prof Sprout, his headmaster and said that his common room was not too far away.
