This is bad, she’s never been called to Tsunade office alone. As a team to get their mission report, sure, but the message clearly requested Hinata to come alone. Hinata’s mind begins racing over everything she would want to talk to her about. It could be how she under performed in their last recon mission by accidentally stepping on a weak branch and falling. Perhaps during training when she couldn’t retrieve the parcel from Kiba. It could even be her failure to be a proper leader!

To say Hinata was freaking out would be an understatement. She was shaking like a leaf in a storm as she approached the Hokage’s office. Taking one last breath before she opens the door, Hinata heard something that made her blush redder than a cherry! There was the sound of smacking and wailing coming from the office. Hinata read about certain punishments like this, but she was lucky enough to avoid them. Her heart began racing so fast, it almost beat out of her chest, but still, she opened the door while shielding her eyes “Y-You wanted to see me ma’am?”

Once the Hyuga knocked on the door, the noise of smacks stopped and after a minute a voice that belonged to the Hokage announced her to come inside. "You can come in...". Then as Hinata opened the door, she'll be greet by the sight of the blonde Hokage sitting in a chair and her assistant next to her whipping the last remains of what looked to be tears while she was blushing almost as much as the young Hyuga was. "Indeed, I wanted to see you Hinata...Shizune, please leave us and take a break from your duties. I'll see you in an hour..." Tsunade instructed her apprentice and assistant, who answered with a "Yes, Tsunade-sama. Thank you..." Then the short black haired woman proceeded to leave the room, not without placing a supporting hand on Hinata's shoulder for a brief second as a small way to say 'good luck'.

Then the door of the office was closed, leaving both Tsunade and Hinata alone in the room. The busty blonde haired Hokage then motioned Hinata to come to where she was, which the blue haired Hyuga did till she was standing not that far away from the leader of the Hidden Village of Konoha. "How are you, Hinata? It's been a good while since we got the chance to talk with one and other..." Tsunade said wondering for the sake of Hinata. As a leader of the village she cared for every ninja that was under her leadership and while she didn't had many chances to interact with the pale beauty, it didn't meant she didn't care for her just like the rest of her team or the others.

After hearing the answer from the young Hyuga, the blonde kage took a sigh as she crossed her arms over her impressive chest as she looked at Hinata right into her lavender eyes. "Well, it's nice to hear you're doing fine Hinata...but that leaves me wondering, why I have received so many reports about your performance during many missions as of late mentioning how you seem to be and I quote 'Not fully focused'..." Tsunade asked wanting to hear an answer what Hinata had to say about this.

As of late, she's been reading and listening to comments that while she's been successful in those missions, Hinata's lack of focus could have lead to a disaster for her. Something that has grown the concern of Kurenai, who brought this up to Tsunade many times before and so here the blonde found herself. Wanting to know what was on Hinata's mind. "What's going on? I want to hear what is troubling you..." Tsunade said with a calm yet firm tone in her voice.

Those few moments when the smacks stopped and there was pure silence was probably one of the worst things the little ninja could have experienced. She felt the tension between the door, and it was so thick, you can cut it with a Kunai. Finally, she heard a voice from behind the door and it was too late to escape now. Tsunade said this with a serious and somewhat strict tone in her voice as she stared at the young Hyuga's lavender eyes that showed the chaos that was Hinata deep inside. If you want to accept it or not that's up to you, however don't try to avoid it by lying to me Hinata..." The blonde Hokage said almost like a scold before closed her eyes for a brief moment and let a sigh out of her mouth. Then once she opened her eyes once more and stared streight into the ones of the young Hyuga. "So I'll ask one more time...What is troubling you, Hinata?" Tsunade asked one more time, ony that with a calm tone in her voice.

The answer from Hinata wasn't much different from the previous one as the younger kunoichi played dumb and say that nothing was wrong. Or at least nothing that she could know, which was clearly a lie and made the blonde haired Hokage simply give up and decide to go from plan A to plan B. If Hinata didn't wanted to share what was wrong that's fine, but something must be done with the poor performances that she's been having in some missions because of it. "Very well...I will not push this subject any further. However I must do something to make sure you start focusing more in your missions before you become a risk for your team and more importantly, yourself...Come over here, Hinata" Tsunade instructed pointing at the side of the chair.

Once the younger kunoichi stood next to her in the chair, the blonde kage grabbed a hand of this. "I didn't want to reach to this point...but I must make sure you get back on track with being a ninja, Hinata." With that being said, Tsunade proceeded to pull Hinata's hand and guide the pale younger beauty over her lap.

Hinata doesn’t mean to be difficult for the Hokage. She honestly wants to be a good girl and tell her everything, but she just can’t. I can’t tell you what’s troubling me. Now, can I please leave?” she said in a soft tone. It was the honest answer at least, just not the answer her mentor wanted. Plus, she wanted to deescalate the situation.

“Thank you Tsunade-san” Hinata said with a small bow thinking their conversation is over. With a relieved sigh, she turned on the balls of her feet about to exit, before her mentor kept talking. She was a fool for thinking she’d get out of this easily without giving an actual excuse. Tsunade wanted answers, concrete answers and not dancing around the question, and she’s going to get it! “Y-Yes ma’am…” she muttered. The butterflies that were once bouncing around her stomach were having a full on party! She knows what’s about to happen, and with each passing moment, it’s becoming more and more real. She can’t even apologize again because Tsunade isn’t phased by that!
