Kira breathed deep, it was a lovely new day in the part of the forest that was her's and her's alone. Not that she didn't shared it with all kind of animals but they where the friends of the young nature spirit. Being a spirit didn't mean she didn't have a body. Kira looked like cute 7 year old girl. She had green eyes, shoulderlength chestnut brown hair and was always dressed in a lightgreen, sleeveless shirt and a darker green mini-skirt, she was never wearing shoes.

She liven a happy life in her part of the forest but as she breathed in again there was something different, she could feel and even smell it in the air.

Alma looked like a slightly chubby common peasant woman in her 40's - an apron over a simple khaki dress, brown hair in a bun, old worn-out shoes. Actually she was much older tehn 40 and was among the most powerful witches in the history. But she was tired or arcane knowledge and power struggles. Alma didn't want magic. She wanted to grow carrrots and potatoes in her little garden in a beautiful silent area far from big cities and intense roads.

And that was exectly what she did. She made a very modest little shack, surrounded it with seebeds and started her new piecful life, hoping that no one will interrupt it.

Kira sniffed the air for a few moments more. "A intruder." She muttered. "I smell the stench of a human...not that it smells that bad, there is something familiar as well (the magic Alma posseses) "I will go take a look and if I don't like what I see I will send the intruder away. This is MY part of the forest." She decided and walked into the direction of the 'stench'.

Alma meanwhile finished warking in her little garden and came inside teh house, there she was baking a carrot pie for herself. She did not expect any guests or, even less so, intruders in these parts...

Kira sneaked around the cottage she found. Something inside smelled very nice but the 'human stench' was very strong as well. She wondered on what to do. She could 1. Walk up to the cottage, knock on the door and ask whoever was inside to leave. 2 she could walk up on the cottage, knock on the door and order whoever was inside to leave or 3. She could investigate further and maybe even get a piece of whatever is was that smelled so nice. After thinking for a moment she choose option 3.

Alma thought she heard something in the garden, but it was probably the bird flying from one bush to another. However, a moment later, as she was checking teh pie (almost ready!) she noticed a magical presence as well. Definetely not a bird. But Alma was going by the "live and let live" motto. If some enchanted creature sneaked around her shack, but didn't mean to disturb her, she was not going to scare them either. However, just in case the guest was not friendly or piecful, the witch turned more vigilant.

A minute later she took the pie from the oven and opened the kitchen window at half-mast so it would cool off properly...

Kira noticed that. She sneaked closer untill she was under the window and listened carefull to decide if it was safe to take a piece of the nice smelling thing inside or, even better, all of it.

"Is she still in the same room as the nice smelling thing or not?" She asked herself in silence.

Alma still felt the slightly irritating presence of magic somethere nearby and decided to check on the amulets she used to keep that shack hidden from any powerful beings who might look for her. She went to another room to see if they were all right and in their places. Her steps on the wooden floor would be quite audibale for someone paying attention...

Kira risked a quick peek inside and saw the kitchen was empty. She reached for the cake but then stopped herself. "Wait a minute, that is what humans would call 'stealing'. I heard that is a very bad thing to do. Change of plans, I am gonna confront the instruder." She decided. She walked around the hut to the front door and knocked.

The witch just finished checking her amulets (seemed like none of the powerful entities which might be after her had disturbed any of them). then she heard the knocking at the door. Alma headed there, a bit irritated that her solitude was disturbed.

"Hello?" she said firmly, opening teh door, but then her eyes widened as Alma saw a little girl whome she did not expect to see in the middle of the forest for sure!
