I'm just noticing that my posts now require moderator approval before being added. This definitely wasn't the case a few days ago. Is this some kind of across-the-board change, or is it just me for some reason?
EDIT: Okay, this one went through just fine, but my last one in this thread required approval.

You were probably picked up by our spam detector for making a possible spam post - as with all technology it is not 100% reliable and does make mistakes sometimes! I wouldn't worry about it too much

Well, it seems to have stopped, so I guess it was just a one-time glitch.

It was not a glitch. While it picked up your post as potential spam it did not do so because it malfunctioned. It did so because your post corresponded in one way or another with known spam word / phrases. Think of it like a junk mail filter on an email address - how many times have legitimate emails ended up in there?

Understood. And sorry if there was some confusion; I kind of use the word 'glitch' or 'bug' to refer to any unintended consequences in a program. Anyway, thanks for the reply.

no worries, either way glad you mentioned something, granted it wasnt a bug or glitch but if it had been then at least we would have known about it
