I´m fairly new to this community site and i´m not a native speaker, so please try, not to be too outraged about the several gramatical/spelling mistakes.

Back to my topic, I wanted to start a discussion, about fans of m/m-spanking and their sexual preference.(especially the males)

For starters, i´m a 29 old Male, livin together with my girl in Munich. I´m a spanking switch and I enjoy all spanking variants (ff,fm,mm, and to a lesser degree mf).
And i´m bi-sexual!
(we could start an argument about how much attraction to the same sex is required to rightfully call yourself bi, but let´s put that topic off to a new thread and let me claim my bi-sexual status, although i´m only attracted toca 5% of all boys)

Here is the backdrop to the topic:
A livelong friend of mine (male 30 years, twink, in a relationship with a girl) and I discovered during a Shadowrun roleplaying session, that we´re both into spanking. To be fair: i gamemastered and had some early intentions.. to cut the long story short, it resulted in an appointed spanking card game, in which i was more than pleased to lose the hole evening
To get to the point: Before our appointment, I came out of the closet and told him that there was about a 99% chance, that after he would strip me naked and spank me, i would beg him to have sex.

Now it get´s interesstin: after that he told me, he would have to think about that offer. He kept thinkin for 3 days and afterwards declined, stating he´s only into girls, but that he would love to spank me.
Which is what we did then.

Here´s my general question to everybody:

what´s the "attraction to" or the thinking behind the fact that your really being into m/m-spanking in context to your sexual preference?

PS: sure there are several explantions to the decline of my friend. Maybe he´s simply just straight and spanks any butt he can get a hand on. Or he´s bi but not attracted to me Or he just didn´t want to "cheat" on his girl.

I don't understand really, is there a anything special that links anyone, as I think the answer given on about 1001 spanking sites and at least 100 threads on this site is that, no, there is no direct similarity.
Some people like M/m because their girls and like it the same way men like lesbians, some people like it because they're gay or bi and some because they're just randy and don't care who they spank.

The m/m liking gay or bisexual is no wonder, the m/m liking straight girl (I have to admit, that this case seems really rare to my) is also easy to explain. They all could get their entertainment () just from the sight of the spanked male buttocks.
Okay, the third possibility is the "pure spanker", who doesn't care, what kind of genitals are on the other side of the butt he is slapping and who's fetish is completely disconnected to his "normal" sex-life. This case stays a little strange for me: For me, both sides are connected, but while I see myself as straight (to be honest: with a little touch of bisexuality) but my interest in spanking is "wider" - I'm sexual more into girls, but a (also sexualised) spanking would also be nice with a boy. Is that just my little bi-part or what?

Nah, it's incredibly common. Females are just told to be more quiet about sexual interest than men, who are socialized to think that openly fetishizing two women and telling them so is okay.

That's probably why many people think there aren't many M/M liking straight girls, when in reality that's far, far from the truth.

I always felt a little bit irrational guilt, that in my harem would be always girl on girl-spanking going on, while the other way around no boy would be spanked.

Personally I'm not really into the sexaul actraction of m/m but it is my favorite spanking pair.

As Croup pointed out, there are some of us who have no sexual reasons for their spanking fetish.
For me it´s kind of hard to grasp, what other than sexual interests there are. If you´re pointin to the dom/sub-theme you could argue that this theme in itself is not totally asexual.
