Question on HOW to post...
*sigh* Okay, ignorant-like-whoa question time. Please bear with me as I've never in my life been on a forum-style website, so I'm beyond stupidly-new in trying to figure out how things work.
I've been all over the site, everywhere I can think of anyway, and I know now /where/ to post . . . but I still can't figure out /how/, and haven't come across any sort of how-to or an answer to someone else previously asking how. Well, that's not entirely true . . . I can post a reply to a thread, and start a new one (like I am now), and reply/comment on pics . . . but not how to post an image of my own. I got a profile pic up, but I'd like to post the original too, from which that's cropped, as well as more to share as I finish them. But I've not been able to figure out how.
Again, PROFUSE APOLOGIES in advance for what will probably turn out to be a common sense "DUH-why-didn't-I-think-of-that" reply, but . . . yeah, I've spent the past three or four days going through all the sections of the site, all the relevant threads I can think of, and..........have been forced to admit defeat.
Thanks in advance! *crawls back under rock in shame*
Hugs and spanks!

What the hell are you talking about?
This is a prime example of too much, this is communication without meaning. So apologetic, I'm not sure what you've done wrong.
Lemme break it down, you want to upload a spanking picture, but don't know how?
Tried going to the galleries or a picture and clicking 'upload'?
The rest is simple from there.

Sorry if I talk too much.
I've been growled at too many times for not knowing what I "should" have already. I've had people get on me too often in the past for not trying hard enough to find my own answers before bothering someone by asking a "stupid question" so I try to say upfront that I /have/ tried my own avenues first. People get mad at me for saying too much so I try to cut things down . . . then get mad at me for not saying /enough/, not explaining things.
I never know what's wrong or okay, so I tend to say more than maybe was needed, and apologize for communicating at all and bothering people.......

Hihihihi, you're doing it again, apologising for your own existance, if you wish to be this apologetic I suggest sitting down and writing:
Quote:
I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish. I am a fish.

Like that.
There are no stupid questions, just sometimes they're asked by inquisitive idiots. Ya just needed to say that you looked and couldn't find the info, then ask the question and we'd know you'd tried your hardest ^^

Rob can very "helpful" when he puts a mind to it. (Sorry, can we stop the air quotes now?)
As was said, while you're in the gallery or on another image, there's a link on the top right that says Upload Pictures. That should give you what you're looking for. Just make sure you upload to the right gallery for whatever image you're uploading. For your work, that would be the communal gallery, unless you end up getting your own.
EDIT:
Looks like you figured it out already, judging by the newest image there. Well done.

Yes, thank you. There was another member who pointed me to the /location/ of the upload link. I have a chronic disease which affects, among other things, concentration and cognition, and sometimes the harder I look for the something, the less likely I am to /spot/ it until someone tells me /where/ (in what part of a page or whatever) to look. And then I FACEPALM at myself because it was right in front of me all along.
Hugs and spanks!

youll find our site to be pretty laid back ^_^ glad you are finally working out the site, as rob said no question is too stupid to ask.. ppl have already asked those
besides after what you mentioned in your last post you have a significant reason to warrant a little extra time for explanations when help is asked, in short youll find otk is a friendly site where you can chill out ^_^

Stoner! Hi! *has seen your name around the site a /lot/ *
Thanks! Yes, I'm hoping that'll be the experience . . . though I have to admit to you or someone that, especially after Rob's second response, I'd have called it quits and /left/ if I'd not already had some good run-ins with other members. Frankly, I was feeling insulted and sniped at by some of his comments. There are no stupid questions, true, but I don't particularly appreciate being called an inquisitive "idiot," for one. "Sorry if I talk too much" didn't come across with the ...sarcasm, I guess (as opposed to true apology) that I was meaning to, and that's my fault for not being more careful in my wording - in pure text, there's no telling tone of voice to get the emotional meaning behind it so all you can go on is word choice . . . and, to my reading, anyway, his was . . . cutting and argumentative. Though that may just be me. But it was upsetting enough that I was pretty hurt and angry and it took several minutes before I could respond and not seem like I was trying to "start something."
I've religiously avoided any and all forums like the freaking plague for more than a decade because no one I know has ever had good experiences with them, so I explored this one and read people's posts and responses for a while before I even ventured to try to join. I have enough stresses in my life and don't need to be adding any more.
Urgh . . . I'd say "sorry for the mini-rant," but as I've already been reamed for apologizing too much..... >,>;;;
Anyway . . . thanks again!!
Hugs and spanks!

Grief.
The first parts a film quote, you don't know it?
I didn't call you an idiot; in fact I said the reason you didn't need to go into so much detail about why you couldn't find the method of uploading pics was you just just needed to say you'd tried your hardest and we'd take it on trust.
I'll say it a second time for emphisis: You don't need to justify yourself all the time, relax and try to enjoy your time here ^^
PS: The "I am a fish" bit is another - obscure - quote from another character on a TV show that justifies themselves all the time and even apologises for their own existance when under extreme stress~
This being an adult-fetish site, sometimes you'll encounter posters here who use obscure adult humour, please pass anything you read through a filter if it seems offensive; its always meant in the best way, even if that isn't obvious from the start.
