Since 4 year olds should sleep 12-13 hours and the punishments would take place in their waking hours we end up with the rather staggering number og almost 100.000 of that age being spanked at any hour during the daytime. That's a LOT of smacks. If you add the other ages and their average of being subjected to corporal punishment the result would be astronomical. But do the math yourself.
