Description}: This is how I did the comic. "Rolling gacha" it's how I've been calling generating a lot of pictures with the AI hoping for some good result. The spanking panel was mostly entirely guided, with me providing a very crude drawing over an AI generated room. If you zoom in, you can see how crude was that drawing. The crudeness was, in part, on purpose: I'm testing how badly you can draw and still have the AI generate professional looking results by drawing over it. And the answer is "very badly". The refining part works like this: Once I have the crude picture in the img2img module, I draw a mask over the spanker only, and then describe the background and the spanker with tags: indoors, bed, elf, male, sitting, dark skin, white hair, angry etc. The idea is to let the AI know what the composition IS, and specially what's under the mask. This lets the AI draw over the crude picture, adding details as needed. The key parameter you play with in img2img is called "Denoising strength" on web-ui or just "Strength" on novel-ai's site. This value controls how much liberty the AI takes with your image. My tests show that values at around .5 to .6 are enough to turn bad sketches into professional-looking art with the right tags describing it. For adjustments on an picture that's quite good already, use values at a .2 to .4 range. Once the spanker was done by the AI, I clean the mask, send the improved image back to img2img and draw a new mask over the spankee, describing the scene and her with the tags. This process gets quite natural after you play with it for a while, and soon you get the hang of what to tag to fix just small details with small masks.

Description}: As more people are posting AI generated pics here, I'm reposting this comic I made with the help of AI about a month ago. If you use AUTOMATIC1111 web-ui, you can use masks to guide the generation process. Without masks, you need to generate a lot of pictures and assemble the parts on a photo editor, or essentially hope that the AI generates a perfect picture, something it won't do :P With masks, you can fix and improve parts of the generation, giving you a lot more control over the process.

Description}: Can the AI help even with sketches? Even BAD sketches? It seems so! I've seen people calling Image Generation systems a kind of Gacha, and it makes sense: You never know what the AI will do EXACTLY. The original sketch from 20 years ago has a number of points that the AI usually gets wrong: For example, most of the times it interprets that the girl is making a fist with her right arm (maybe because the right shoulder is right there?) Other times, the AI forgets to draw the guy's legs or doesn't get what his left arm is doing and therefore doesn't draw it. Yet another annoying mistake is the girl's lowered shorts is usually interpreted as a strap and buckle holding her down (probably because the AI saw countless HCG bondage pictures during training). So what I did this time was to generate a bunch of interpretations of the sketch and combine the good parts of each one in Photoshop. Then I fed the composite picture back into the AI and let it fix the minor inconsistencies among the several parts (the AI does this much more consistently).

Description}: Since Stable Diffusion exploded in popularity a few days ago with Novel AI's image generation release, I've been doing !!SCIENCE!! on how to generate spanking pictures with it. I had some hilarious failures at first, by trying to use the system naively. The AI alone doesn't know how to draw people like you want, and it wasn't trained to recognize what a spanking even is (I'm glaring at each one of you who tag slaps during sex as spanking). What the AI DOES know, however, is how to improve something that already exists. Enter the "Upload Image" shenanigans: If you upload a picture and fiddle with the "Uploaded Image Settings" you can get the AI to follow rather precisely what's below. Or rather, to take what it's below and improve it. *Sometimes*. I left the girl's hand messy to show the kind of dumb the AI still produces. I could had simply taken a good hand I got from another generation and combined the two on Photoshop. But back to the settings: "Strength" is how much the AI will create. Strength .99 means the AI doesn't consider the upload at all, drawing an entire new thing guided by the tags instead. Likewise, putting in 0 Strength just spits the original picture back at you. For values of Strength smaller than .5 the AI pays MUCH much more attention to what's on the original. Which was essentially what I used to produce the picture above. "Noise" seems to control how much local freedom the AI has to mess with small details of the image. I'm still not 100% sure of what it does, but large values of noise mean more changes to what was on the original. Sometimes this is good, like when you're starting from a rough sketch, sometimes this is bad, like when you're refining a picture that's quite good already. By fiddling with these controls and using tags to inform the AI what it can expect to find on the picture, you can get some amazing details and consistency out of nothing. Remember, the AI doesn't know what a "spanking" or a "over the knee" is, but it DOES know what "2girls, chair, sitting, on stomach, ass, bare legs, barefoot" are. Trying to enter emotion tags (like "crying, angry" and the like) will influence the expressions of both actors. In fact, you should assume that if the AI can apply some tag to both actors, then it will. To fix this, one could look around to find some downloadable things that give more control over the process by allowing the use of other models and MASKS. Masks let you redraw just one part of the image at a time, so you can have just the spanker angry, and just the spankee crying. I still feel like I have barely seen what this new toy is capable of.

Description}: This is the second of three decent spanking pictures in this set. Now, this is a nice pair and such, but freaking Eirin spanking Cirno is a huge waste of spanker mojo. In a "who tops who" Gensokyo hierarchy, Eirin is god tier while Cirno is at the very bottom tier (not that I dislike Cirno, but nobody takes her seriously).
