Description}: Now it happens that Hanauk had a pet shelat (the infamous "Vulcan teddy bear").Her name is I-Wari. Vulcans frequently have an emphatic bond with their pets, and the bond between I-Wari and her owner was especially deep. She had been left behind at the settlement, but as soon as she sensed that her young owner and his two alien friends were in distress she became highly agitated.All attempts to calm her down were futile and she soon burst through the perimeter of the settlement and went crashing through the wilderness with the boys' parents in hot pursuit

He and the two Romulans draw their weapons on the boys.As he gloats over the 3 lads he comes up with an idea. "Their is an old earth practice I read about in Tom Sawyer that I always wanted to try" He forces the 3 to go outside and cut some switches

Description}: The 3 boys (one human, one vulcan,one andorian) Are all friends and live on one of the Federation's colony worlds . There is a group of Romulans living on the same planet.This is a time of uneasy peace between the federation and the Romulan empire. The Romulans on this world claim that are not there for any military purposes, they say they are only there as part of a scientific research project. The Federation accepts this explanation and have ordered the colonists to leave the Romulans alone. The 3 boys like to explore and chance upon a group of Romulans that are up to no good.They try to tell the other colonists, but Lieutenant Sladek(who is in charge of supplies to the colony) openly mocks the boys for their foolish suspicions of the Romulans. The boys decide to do some more snooping and make a shocking discovery

Description}: The amazingly talented Arkham also came up with a backstory for each of the lads.I thought fans of this series might enjoy reading them : "Coyot is training to be a warrior like his older brother...and Putchii absolutely wants to work in the Royal Kitchens...he is a gatherer right now...gathering fruits and berries for the kitchen. Zuma and Tenoch are always together and they are always sneaking out together getting into trouble, Both of their parents are jewry makers and they both are happy to learn the craft...both boys have made secret promise rings for each other. Quetzal is training to be a potter, but he does not like this, he would much rather be a hunter, but since he is lanky no one thinks that he can do it...he often sneaks out and practices archery."
