Description}: This is from Takehiko Inoue's Vagabond. Sadly, you can't see very much, but it IS a spanking (The mother is called Baba (grandmother) by most people, the son is Matahachi). Translation from right to left (it was not easy to translate it... don't know if the grammar is correct, but I think you'll understand what they are talking about): Uncle: Baba! Let it be enough with that. Matahachi is no child anymore. Baba: Uncle Gon, shut up! Matahachi! What were you up to? Why did you run away when you saw the face of your mother? Did a tree give birth to you from its branch fork? Aren't you my child? You idiot! Baba: Since that damned Takezo talked you into going to war... for five years... I thought you were dead... O-Fukuro (Bag, a name for mother in japanese - the mother's womb is the bag where she carried the baby) Baba: Why didn't you come home directly?
