Jack sits on the bed, next to Melanie. JACK: (unconfortable) Listen kid, I think we both lost control of the situation out there, and we both said and did things that we shouldn't have. 82. Melanie is still mad. JACK: It was never my intention make you feel like I don't care about you. You'll see, I have been a pirate more time that I have been a father and I guess that sometimes I forget what is really important. 83. Jack puts his hand over the covers, trying to confort Melanie.
