Description}: The background of this one is kinda funny, so: Kemono Friends was a freemium game about animal girls whose company shut it down before the anime even made it to air. It was computer animated on a shoestring budget, and looks the part. We're talking sub-Berserk quality here. But as sometimes occurs, the Japanese fandom adopted it like the ugliest dog at the pound and generated insane amounts of fan content, most of which looks better than the show itself. This is all a roundabout way of saying, they took the animal-girl characters and started inserting them into every funny animal meme in existence, in this case the 'cats who enjoy being spanked' meme. BUT it is a higher resolution than the previous work, so I'd as soon this one stick around... especially because I found the story behind it. Turns out this isn't fanart, it's an honest-to-goodness canonical illustration from the original light novel series. (For the record, the anime covered like one or two volumes.) This is a very rough description since I'm working off machine-translated Japanese summaries in conjunction with the other illustrations for context. The plot is that Hina's parents are DEEEEEAAAD! but she doesn't grasp what that means, so she says she'll use a birthday wish to bring them back. Obviously that doesn't work, so instead she decides to become Batman--wait no, I mean, run away from home to find them. Anyway apparently they find her with the help of a large breasted woman and this takes place near the end of the book. I dunno, I almost never bother with descriptions this long but it's interesting to me the series ended up following one of the archetypical plots to an adoptee spanking story. Also damn rare to find any kind of context for standalone illustrations like this. Pure coincidence I stumbled across it in the first place.

Of course, because it's a comedy series when the ruse falls through she drags them into a literal torture chamber. The group translating it might get here sooner or later but I wouldn't hold my breath. It's kind of neat overall, but there isn't any other spanking material that I could find.
