Description}: 'Chess' is the topic of this drawing. Chess is also the main theme in Lewis Carroll's 1871 literary work: 'Through the looking-glass, and what Alice found there'. In Lewis Carroll's story, Alice starts off as a pawn that becomes a Queen and goes on to win the match. It is often said, "life is like a game of chess". In the above drawing, I think you can see both Alice and Peter will be going home winners after this game.

Cap'n Crunch

Description}: When it's crunch time, he's Captain of the breakfast table! Here we see a buffed-up Cap'n Crunch whipping his crew into shape while Alfie holds the spanking spoon. I was thinking of making a nautical comment such as: Now Brunhilde knows the true meaning of the expression 'shiver me timbers'. I also thought of going with the breakfast cereal angle and saying something like: This is what keeps Cap'n Crunch hard even in milk. Instead I will leave you with this thought. Have you ever noticed that Cap'n Crunch looks like a cross between Colonel Sanders (of KFC) and the Mario Brothers? As always, your comments are welcome.

Description}: What I like about the Little Lulu comic books is the simplicity of the color and line to express an idea. This got me thinking about the look on Wilburn's face. Some will contend Wilburn looks angry because he must now 'hold up his end' of the bargain. Others might say his face is red from embarrassment. Yet again, this may be a look of frustration as he imagines the position reversal if he had won the bet. What do you think? Comments are welcome.

Description}: Why does Tinkerbell always do such naughty things? Are her antics a desperate cry for attention? Is she trying to see what she can get away with? Possibly it is just her nature? Or perhaps Tinkerbell misbehaves in the hope she will get caught as seen in this drawing???!!! You decide. Comments are welcomed and appreciated. Long story how this drawing got so large. Hopefully the next one will be a more manageable size.

Description}: Even though Lois teaches piano you never see her children practicing. Undoubtedly their instruction ends the same way it did for this student who came unprepared to a piano lesson. This picture may appear large on screen. This is because it was drawn to be printed out on a 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper in landscape mode.
