Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
This is Zepatos from the sci-fi rp here in good ol' anime otk
Basically Zepatos is a carluxin (for anyone who's taken a gander at my story, Carluxins are a race fo aliens with black skin and hair that can manipulate ki magic to a greater or lesser degree).
Zepatos, personally, isn't a great example of his race's society. He's been a space-scavenger since he was a kid so was largely removed form the extremely religious upbringing common to his people.
but he still holds a few traditions. Eg, he never cuts his hair as is tradition. Genrally, however, they frown upon body modification but for facial piercings, so in a random fit of inspiration he decided to buck the trend and get both sides of his body tattooed anyway. Most people would call it rebellion, but he had no one in particular to rebel against. Quite frankly, it was probably a mix of boredom and a bet in a bar of around a poker table
Depending on the light, the black-on-black-skin tattoo can be difficult to see at times, and easily hidden. he's still pretty proud of it, though.
His dream is to be a pilot, and he's pretty darn good, even if he lacks the military discipline required for doing the job officially. He's currently on an official federation ship training for the job, but his free spirit and lack of discipline can occasionally get him into trouble with his superiors.
