Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
Yeah, I was that kid. The dictionary thing especially. Sometimes I'd underline the word if it appeared in a storybook, and then have to hide that book so no one else would see it.
Oh wow, something a lot of us can relate to. I used to be a kid like that - well, the first part was harder for me, because I didn't have any friends at that age except at school. I used to watch these girls chase this one boy around and threaten to spank him with a stick, though - I recall wishing I could join them. I think I was seven at the time.
Oh, but the dictionary and I were definitely friends - as were books in general. I used to keep the ones with spanking scenes/threats/references nearby and read those parts repeatedly, and I would look up every word in the dictionaries and thesauruses until I knew everything related to spanking. Haha.
...and the searches on the internet. I didn't have the internet until I was 16, and I didn't have a proper computer until I was 19, but oh, I looked up spanking all the time.
So much that I think a lot of us can relate to in this picture, and I give you props for trying to draw so much of it out at once. That's a lot of work, but you definitely connected to a part of who a spanko is, and for that...Thanks!

I had a dictionary with some pictures in it (an old, gigantic series of volumes). For one of the words (school, I think) there was an old picture of a monk using a birch on a young boy.
I spent some time on that picture, even if I already knew that /m spankings weren't my thing.
What was it with girls in those days? When I was 6/7 girls of the same age would use any excuse to spank us boys, but it was never the other way round.
I used to search the word 'spank' on the dictionary each time we'd have a project that required it's use in school as looking at it when other students were around made me feel naughty XD! I also would search on the internet~!

Yeah looks like all of us spankos have the same fascination with the word itself, especially as kids. ^^ How funny that we all relate so well to this. yeah, with the exception of line 1 i'm like that to the T. it's to the point where i'll also youtube any movie i've seen else where with so much as a spanking reference, and i go wild even if there's so much as a swat on the butt or spanking in a real legit movie (btw, killer inside me Jessica Simpson )

Oh man, I can remember all the books like that. I read both Tom Sawyer and Boy. Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry was memorable for me as an 11-year-old, as was "Where The Red Fern Grows".
I remember one book called "Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle". It had a brief passage that seared into my memory, about two sisters who got spanked. It wasn't much, something like "Their daddy spanked them, and they left for school red-eyed and miserable", but its prominent featuring of that word in an active sense seared into my adolescent brain.
Especially the dictionary!
