Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
I dunno shadowsong, maybe before Other M, because in every previous metroid Samus would SO pwn Link.... But now that she has had a labotomy, I'm not so sure.

With Other M you have a woman who refuses to perform any action lest the man in charge deem it acceptable. Even basic necessities like the friggin' Varia Suit are left inactive until Adam, after roughly 10 minutes or so decides 'Hey, Samus, activate the suit' with all the urgency of a father scolding a child. I don't have to get into the fact that she is suddenly wetting her power suit (Hey, it explains why it keeps DEACTIVATING) at the site of a dragon that she has repeatedly murdered the ever-loving hell out of, even in games where Sakamoto was actually in charge. Ridley has come back to life 6 times more than Jesus Christ; you could base a religion around his resurrection, and have more holidays than a Jewish Greek family. A brief pause and hesitation would have sufficed, or even the shrill "Ridley!?" alone would've been fine---It could have conveyed shock and confusion that this scaley, scalding mother-lover was alive for the umpteenth time---but no, we get Samus regressing into a little girl and being rescued by the Cole Train Marine from Gears of War in a Power Ranger suit. We get to see the Japanese cast aside every last little detail that made the game good, and for Sakamoto to try and capitalize on an audience over-eager to excuse him because Nintendo made an in-house game. To that end, this picture is humorous if you imagine it as Link spanking Samus for agreeing to appear in Other M.
I won't go into PTSD, I don't know much about it and I'm not a psychologist either. I do know the difference between a theoretical portrayal of PTSD, fight or flight, and "Derp." Samus's portrayal was most assuredly "DERP." Hey, if Samus is so maternal, why did she hawk THE BABY off to a research facility to be played with by goofy scientists. Sounds like Mother Of The Year to me.
....Sorry, I really, really dislike Other M; I'mma go pretend the series ends with Super Metroid.
