three-feather-dragon-battle
"This was the battlefield. On one side: A feathered serpent – a kind of dragon, the body long and serpentine, but feathered, with three large talons at each side, its limbs. The head seemed way too huge for the body, and showed rows of fangs, each bigger than a dagger, and all dripping with drool…or poison. Its feathers were fluffed, like an owl, making it look even bigger, if slightly fat. That was deceptive, however: the creature was REALLY fast and had just dodged the lightning bolt.
The other side: Three women, two of which had shouted at each other just now.
The first of the three was standing near a tree, farthest away. She was dressed in the robes of a shrine maiden, with prayer beads in her hands. Her skin was brown-ish, fitting to her red hair.
She seemed to be standing still, only her hands and mouth moving: The hands were gesturing, while the lips were forming silent words, as if she was praying. The second woman was, rather obviously, some sort of witch. The black dress gave it away, and so did the oversized hat. Unusual were the scrolls floating around her, each covered in a myriad of small signs. Her hair was raven black, contrasting her skin, which was almost purely white. She was shooting sparks at the feathered serpent, while her eyes shot metaphorical sparks at the third woman.
The third woman, finally, was the tallest of the three. Her clothes were awfully similar to the ones of the praying woman, just that her “skirt” was actually a pair of trousers (made from the same material and with the same color), and that her west was also smaller and rather revealing, despite the long sleeves. She apparently was of the belief that she was fine without armor, and relied entirely on her speed. It showed: she was dancing around the serpent, delivering blows with her spear while her long hair whipped behind her."
