Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
Oh? I'll admit I can't read Japanese, so I assumed based on the third panel of mai-athena-1 (where Mai's underneath a big K.O. while a halo with wings hovers over her head) that she'd been defeated by Athena, and was taking out her frustration.
It's clearly a feint to make Athena drop her guard. Or she recovers from being knocked out in seconds.
Or possibly Athena just waited around for her to come back to conciousness. Athena isn't the smartest psychic in the barrel.

Or this never was a fight to begin with but practice, after all, check out the top middle panel in the first one to see Athena looking somewhat shocked that she hit Mai in the head. Mind you, this is only a theory.
I have tried to do some translation with scanlate.io and from what I can gather Athena and Mai were on the same team and Athena attacked her ; probably by accident or something.
