Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
@CleverFox: On the face of it, our hero doesn't have much use for a hairbrush. But his wife seems pleased that he's got it, and as for his mother-in-law... well, you know how when a father buys his son a train set he's really buying it so he can play with it himself?
@Tienz: Thank you. Yep, one happy extended family. I imagine the mother-in-law is living with them, or at least a very frequent visitor, so the man of the house will have to behave himself. And thanks for the comment about the hair - I wanted a retro look to this and I think I more-or-less achieved it. Hairstyles always help.

The distracted kids are clearly clueless about the obvious meaning behind their grandmother's gift to her son-in-law, but their mother is smiling knowingly at her bemused husband and smugly satisfied mother.

Well, Rogue, the inscription on the gift label ('blown up' in the drawing's background) pretty much indicates that the older woman's son-in-law is considered "richly-deserving" of the hairbrush (presumably via the vigorous application of its back to the proper location on his body) by her.

I love the way both kids seem totally unaware of the significance of Grandma's gift to Dad. He had better hope they are out of the house when Mom decides it's time to put it to use!
