Oh nice! Really love this!! As a historic interest and also one who's interested a lot of the Roman Era this is really good to see, and also quite fitting!

Right, Mina! Anyway, as I see it, these are how Kelts, say in Southern Britain, might have looked before they came into contact with their future friends and allies the Picts. When they originally arrived in Britain so, so many years before, the Kelts not indigenous to Britain before--and really I can't help but feel that Kelts have always had colonies in Britain--when their brothers and sisters arrived, from Gaul, Spain, Brittany, maybe to escape invading Romans, these continental Kelts indeed went into battle naked, believing they had some magic support from this, like the tattooed Kelts--but inking was unknown in the Continent. Incidentally, the only article of clothing a Kelt, male or female, wore into battle was fine belt, I guess leather, or jewelry--"torque," which was higly stylized, finely shiseled works of an artisn. To humiliate the Kelts after a losing battle, the victors would remove the Kelts' belts, as the Romans have done to these fierce woman warriors, a signification of great shame among Keltic soldiers, making them, well--just naked, no military pedigree, notwithstanding their long, bloody but brave history, conquering all of modern Fance including Belgium, a good deal of Spain, Souther Britain then, under the Scots, originally a Goidelic Keltic people original from Irelan (though these did not come until not only the Roman conquest of S. Britain but also after the virtual overrunning of the South by the Angles, Saxons, and Jutes, from N. Germany, forming England). Anyway not only did the Kelts, who may along with the Teutons have originated from the tribes of the bloodthirsty Scythians of, I think, Central Asia, the Kelts and Teutons moving west. So powerful were the Kelts at one time that they burned Rome to the ground, about 390 BC. So, my friend, you have given us fantastic representatives of two totally vaild images of Keltic female warriors: Continental Kelts with no makings, that may have lived outside the reach of the warlike Picts of the North (future Scotland), and those with the camouflage tattoos introduced to them by the Picts, such Kelts being characteristic of a good number though not all of the British kelts. Well, GREAT work, my friend!
