trying-something-new

I've always hated how bad I am at line art (which is why I usually skip that step and leave my drawings sketchy), but I've been wondering recently if it's because drawing clean lines is just harder in digital art. (or possibly if I'm just too n00by to calibrate my tablet properly)

Either way, I decided to play around with traditional (non digital) media for a while, and try inking with actual ink.

Here's the result. I'm actually pretty happy with it

Personally, I enjoy your sketchy style It's got a charm to it, and really comes off as something of a signature. But hey, I'm not against you trying to improve if you feel you need to!

The line art is pretty solid here, especially in the shading under the arm and chin. It does feel a bit "harsher" than your usual sketchy style, which has a softer vibe to it, and makes the caring nature of the spankers come out. This one... hard to say cause it's just a spankee, I suppose. If you keep trying with this experiment, it'll be interesting to see with a spanker.

Anyway, all that aside, keep up the hard work! You've already have visibly grown a lot since you first came to the site, and I think you can keep going as long as you put your mind to it!

it looks great, I agree your "sketchy" style is a nice contrast to the hard line art that most artists use. I like your characters they are very pleasing to look at.
