Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
I also posted this on my deviantART, but I added a watermark to the original file specifically to upload here. There's a shitty fanfiction to go with it on the original upload, I threw it together quickly just to have something to go with it ^^; I'm not sure how formatting works on here, I'll add the fic to this description when I figure it out. For now, though, if you want to read it, look for SailorStarMiracle on dA.

That's the only thing resembling a "reference" I have for this. If it doesn't satisfy, I'll just take this down myself so I don't get banned or something.

Yes, you must declare bases and link to them. (in reference to your description)
A good rule of thumb is: If you didn't draw elements of your picture yourself, you should link them when posting on animeotk.
This isn't meant to shame anybody, or bully people who use bases. They're a tool for beginning artists to have fun. But the rules are the same for everyone. If you used outside elements in your drawing, you've gotta link them.

Pastel's politely given an omissive truth. Our rule that you MUST post links and acknowledgements of references is not to shame or bully people who use bases... but those who deny it. I'm not entirely sure in what way using a base as heavily as you have isn't, as you claim, referencing or tracing but I don't feel you're being entirely honest. It's just a bit confusing to me why you're not being more accurate. The base is free, the artist WANTS it to be used, there's really no issue except if you say you've not referenced or traced anything when you so clearly have.
In all seriousness, I use references and stocks, plenty of people do. We want to see links to the original art posted here, not a disclaimer that you've used a better disclaimer on another site. Base = Reference.
It's unfortunate that the only two comments you've gotten have been complaints about rules, I know this is an oppressively negative welcome to the site and it's not the impression we like to give.
I'd highlight my first line in this post, it's a base we've seen here scores of times, that may be an explanation for why you've not had more feedback on what is otherwise a perfectly fine little drawing and an interesting pairing~
Well I'm so sorry the message didn't tell me that when they said "reference", they meant "the original base". It said "reference or tracing". That's it. No specifications. How was I supposed to know that's what was being referred to? I'm just going to take it down, it's not worth it to have it on here when I get in trouble for not understanding something. I have problems and I need things explained to me in a blunt, straightforward way or I can't understand what the person is talking about. I guess I chose the wrong site to share stuff I poured my heart into on...I'll just stick to dA for posting art.

I'd suggest having another bash at them in case you're unfamiliar. It may have been simpler if the message you received from whomever had contained that link if it didn't. It sounds like someone trying to help but ended up being so nice and polite they buried the point they were trying to make.
If you're looking for people who are straightforward that's definitely something you'll get from me. I'm sorry you're stressing out but I don't feel it's fair to throw that at us when you've been told flatly it's no sin to reference and trace a free base created for that purpose. Please take a breath, calm down and listen to what you're being told.
