Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
Because I make my living exclusively out of my art, I assure you I'm not the only one,
but I draw more than other people so I suppose there's where it looks a lot more?
AOTK is paying me to let these pictures become public after 6 months, so you either spare 1 dollar to see it, or you wait 6 months.

I don't think its a matter of wrapping heads around it. He's clearly voicing displeasure over censorship. Looking at resident artists on the front page about 20% of it is censored images advertising users to go to other sites. How long until AOTK is turned into a pure advertising platform? Or until the front page is nothing but censored work. I can definitely see the frustration and why it exists.
That's about as far as I'm going to go on this topic because in the grand scheme of things its pointless drama.
