If there was one person that the badly behaved feared for the safety of their butts more than Clair, it was Erica. A police officer by day, she specialised in catching and disciplining young criminals on the spot. Often the punishments were in public and saw her thick leather belt connect to a bare bottom. Erica had spanked a lot of people in her career, but there was one person who she had hoped she'd never have to apply this punishment - her adopted son, Samy.
Samy had come into Erica's life just over a year ago or so, after running away from his highly abusive family. He had been left heavily scarred, mentally and physically, by all the beatings he'd taken and came to Erica begging for help. She promptly arrested Samy's mother and father, but was unable to find any other close relatives to take care of him. Not wanting to send the vulnerable boy to an orphanage, she took it upon herself to raise him as her own. Knowing his history, she decided it would be best not to spank him.
But that all changed one day when, during an argument with an older girl who was mocking both him and Erica, Samy violently pushed her into the road in front of an oncoming car, which thankfully stopped just in time. Erica knew that for something so serious, there was simply no other alternative. She took Samy inside, hauled him over her lap, pulled down his shorts and underpants, and gave his bottom five firm smacks. Samy cried for the entire duration and simply lay limp like a ragdoll once over his mother's lap. And then came the following conversation....
"Samy, you must NEVER do anything like that ever again!"
"Let me go! You told me you were never gonna let me be beaten again! You lied to me!!"
"No, no, listen to me...I didn't "beat" you. I just gave you a spanking."
"What's the difference? You still hit me!"
"It's a punishment. Samy, I only did it because I had to, and I didn't enjoy doing it at all."
"B-but why did you do it if you don't like it?"
"Because I love you. Too much to let your actions go without consequences. I only want what's best for you, sweetie."
".......it hurts...."
"I know, sweetie....I know."
Erica still spanks Samy to this day, but she is taking the process nice and slowly, in a manner he is "comfortable" with. Right now, she only uses her hand, a slipper, or if need be, a flyswatter as implements, and when Clair babysits him, she is given strict instructions. It may be hard for Samy to fully understand, but his bond with his new mother has only gotten stronger.
