calentir-and-morocundo
This one was made exactly two years ago. It was made to ilustrate a friend's story, Lela, with Yule as theme, of course. I asked her if it was ok to share it here and she told me to go ahead 
These two are her Oc, Morocundo and Calentir (I so love them) Morocundo is an ancient elf, the chief librarian of Imladris, and Calentir homeless elfling found by a Imladris' party led by Morocundo in their way from Lothorien going back to Imladris.
When they arrive to Imladris, Elrond has some kind of vision, and decides Morocundo is going to foster little Calentir.
For you to make an idea of how Morocundo is, you must think about Sheldon from Big Bang Theory show. Punctillious, fastidious and obsessed with perfection, tidyness and quietness. And a pretty serious and glum character. Calentir is a bundle of energy, overebullent, messy and a bit wild, always optimistic, never down or sad. He has spent a whole year in the streets of a mannish town with other urchins waiting for his father who left him there and told him to wait for him to come back. Or he think he was his father, before that year he has not memory of previous events in his life. (he is the equivalent of a 10 years old edain)
Morocundo is a moderated and reluctant spanker, so usually he barks more than bites. Not because he is simpathetyc with the miscreant he needs to be corrected, but because of the nuisance of it all. His perfect clothes being creased or ruined by mucus and tears, more physical contact than what he is comfortable with...
and for the miscreant is not better! Not because Morocundo's spankings are too harsh (they hurt, do not be mistaken) but because the whole process of it, are incredible slow. He can spent 15 minutes deciding where the chair is better placed, he helps the miscreant to put the leggings down a way it don't create wrinkles (10 minutes more) and then to be placed over his knee to his perfect likeness it can be 10 minutes more before the actual spanking starts.
In this story Morocundo and Calentir had spent a whole year together as foster Ada and Ion. Morocundo finds Calentir has ruined on prupose a decorative Ebony cone Morocundo helds dear, engraving a glaring face and the words " I am grimly displeased" Morocundo's favorite motto. When he is on his way to find him, he finds him playing with Glorfindel. Glorfindel would have liked to foster Calentir instead of Morocundo and is his known opinion Morocundo is not fit to do so. At one point he hears Calentir say "I wish he were more normal" refering to Morocundo. Morocundo is surprised to be upset by this comment, the damned urching has found a place in his heart. After this he decides to go from a too strict rules to a no-rules routine, at first Calentir, though bewilded by this strange change he decide to enjoy this sudden freedoom (no bed-time, eating all the candies he want, no washing his teeth or taking baths...) in less than a week he decides he doesn't like that, his tummy hurts of too much sugar and he doesn't feel comfortable in his so messy bedroom, so he decides to write a Yule wish letter and read it to Morocundo, sayin he wants his Ada back! The first thing a relieved Morocundo does is to show him the ruined ebony piece and spanks him for that (just four swats, but good ones) and send him to the corner.He wouln't spank him for the messy house they are living in because that is his own fault. And when Calentir is dozing on the corner he takes him to his bedroom, which is again immaculate (he has spent Calentir's corner time tidying it up for him).
I just explained the story very roughly so you can contextualize the picture. Morocundo is smiling here because he is relieved Calentir loves him as he is and do not need to change any of that
