Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
First post... god I'm so nervous, since I've never drawn actual scenes before... I think I need to explain the story here.
Two little friends got bored of their regular school life, and they thought "Hey, the bank over there doesn't look very well-guarded, why not rob it?", so they packed some fake pistols and went on with the plan. After keeping everyone hostage for 10 minutes, they were quickly subdued, and now they have to pay the price for wasting everybody's time.
Welp... that's all I had, I know the pic's not good, it took me 2 days to fix it till it's relatively acceptable, so I do hope you can give me an advice or two, 'cuz I've got lots of wierd ideas up in my head, and I do hope I can do better expressing them
It's not bad for a first attempt. I would suggest you concentrate on anatomy and perspective for a while and worry about the more subtle aspects of composition later.
As for the idea, there's certainly nothing wrong with crooks getting caught and spanked by some authority figure. We've seen such scenes by Eve and other artists: typically, the criminal is a burglar or shoplifter, not a bank robber, and for the benefit of impressionable youngsters we should make clear that in the U.S. bank robbery is a serious crime even if fake pistols are used.
