The Tyrannical Toad's walking cane tapped the concrete bleakly as the Baron strolled behind the captive Welshman, hooded eyes narrowing.
"They call him the whiner that takes all... and he STRIKES like a Butter-ba-AAALL!" Tom finished with a baritone shout as the thick black cane always at the Evil Baron's side slammed into his firm rump with a hearty THWACK.
In the complex maze of industrial vents and pipes that was a popular choice with the criminal class when 'entertaining' their captives and fostering their dastardly schemes, Danger Mouse's ears perked up at the Welshman's vocal efforts. Using his fantastic mousy hearing and his keen secret agent 365-degree, 24 carat and more intellect, DM easily pinpointed the hostages' whereabouts and sprinted off.
"Ah, please do sing on, Mr Jones," The Terrible Toad Tyrant implored darkly, giving the singer's bound back and thighs a series of firm, menacing pats, "there are plenty more lashes with your name on..."
"You're thinkin've Englebert Beaverdink, boyo. Don't have any makeup ranges myself like." Sir Tom responded, on his tiptoes, gamely keeping his hamster nephew out of the line of fire.
"Is that so? Well... let me help to change your mind," Greenback murmured with a cruel, gremlin-like leer, as he reared up his thick rod once again, ready to slam it down, "What's Black and Blue, Pussycat?"
"Those are no tha' words, Barone..." Stiletto offered helpfully, missing the irony. Although not the rap of the cane to the side of his head that came to him moments later, "OW-SA!"
"Oh-oh crumbs, Baron! Wuh-why don't you 'elp someone else? They're always askin' for 'elp in the Donkey Sanctuary, and you DO look a bit like a donkey, so... 6 and 2 threes?" Penfold quipped, kicking his legs around with a hope to shield his kith and kin from another assault . Rather brave, really, had he known what he was doing. Or thought about what he was doing. Even thinking at all would have been a step forward, but hey ho!
Nonetheless, the wicked rattan came down with a heavy thud... as in a White Flash it was caught in the White Fist of the White Wonder himself!
"Not one more strike, you FIEND!" The Dashing and Amazing and Fantastic Secret Agent ordered, tearing the thick black rod from the rotund rotter's clutches, causing him to stagger back and into Stiletto and Nero with a rolling, bouncing thump.
"It's the Chief! Hurray!" Penfold cheered, beaming.
"Cor, that's tidy, innit?!" Tom agreed in pleased relief, discreetly stamping out the sting in his backside.
"Yes! And it's about time that the Baron gets sent to the 'Green Green Grasses of a Home'ly Prison!"
