Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

"...so from then on I became more and more rebellious"... I think the parental discipline backfired! She can't trust her parents (and I do wonder if the parents will actually find out the truth from the teacher or not) and now she knows how fists work!
Xiaojia's teacher and her parents explained the situation. Her parents apologized to Xiaojia, and Xiaojia said she asked her parents to take her to the amusement park as compensation, and her parents took her there. She was very happy and later learned to ask for benefits.
I'm glad her parents admitted their error in judgement and apologised. I know way too many parents who would never admit to a mistake and instead punish their children further for daring to question their authority. I'm glad it's a kind of happy ending.
I'll never understand the argument "don't lie and you'll be punished lighter" like, why would i have to pick being spanked over chance of not being spanked?
Specially since "lighter" never means light, so it's choosing between hard and a gamble, harder or none at all.
So if, say, someone murders someone and lie about it, and the lie is discovered, you don't believe that person should also be punished for lying?
Dunno, really. I mean, it's easy to root for Xiajia here, since getting unjustly accused is something no one would get behind.
But by her own admission, it was not unmerited. She did herself to others what was done unto her. And as their parents said, cry wolf. Lie often enough about something, and no one would expect the truth. And also by her own admission, the reason she gets spanked so severely is that her parents had exhausted all other options.
And the lesson she gets from this is that she gains confidence beating up people? Yikes. Sorry, but it's hard for me to really gather sympathy for her in the grand scheme of things.
On the flip side, she seemed to be genuinely trying to turn over a new leaf, but because she isn't believed no matter how much she protests and is considered guilty until proven innocent (and her mother is more concerned about her own reputation more than anything), it might come to the point that she doesn't even try to be good any more. I guess unfortunately, one's past can dictate your future even with things like little white lies etc. I fear that Xiaojia will become a teenage delinquent, but she is still a child and needs some love and understanding. Obviously beating up classmates to get your own sense of justice is not the way to go.
