Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
In the Gen 4 Pokemon Games (Diamond, Pearl, Platinum), there's an NPC named Mindy. She offers you a trade a Medicham for Haunter. Not the WORST trade in the world, catching and raising two Meditites into Medichams basically gets you a free Gengar since Haunter evolves after a trade. And even if you don't go through all that effort like I did, it's such an obvious trade since Gengar is significantly stronger than Medicham (bonus points if you picked Chimchar, then you already got a good (more like better) Fighting-Type on your team).
So you make the trade and get a Haunter. It doesn't evolve because of an Everstone. So you just gave away a Medicham, which while not as good as Gengar is STILL a good mon to have, for a Haunter that can't evolve unless you trade it (and get it back) and is just significantly worse than what you traded it for.

@TheLooker: I mean, Team Rocket is more in the business of taking your Pokemon then doing bum trades. XD If anything, they'd use their newly gotten Medicham to beat you and your Haunter, take it back, and do the trade again and again.
Thank you, I too fell for this scam and was so pissed off I had to turn off the game. Especially since she laughs at you afterwards about giving her Haunter an everstone!!
