Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!
After the colors are in place, the next step would be to add shadows/highlights. However, as I'm lazy, I skip this and move to the last step: Using tricks to improve the picture's appearance without actually doing more work. The blurry thing around the line art is the line art layer duplicated and set to gaussian blur 3.
Finally, I create a layer under the line arts to add the reddening on the cheeks (both pairs) and the tears.
This picture is a homage to all the older brother/younger sister scenarios out there, btw.
This is really s super 4-item posting. Thanks. I used to do my drawing in draft on tracing paper. When I was satisfied, I'd tape it up on a window, then tape a clean final sheet of good drawing paper over it and trace the final by following the lines of my draft. Sort of like using a lightbox.
