So there is a really nice comic out there about two or three pages, where this very image is used to portray that this is the mom, and she and her daughter got in trouble with daddy, for shopping inappropriately. Both got of them got a good hard spanking and then both had to stand in the corner like this.

My suggestion?
just let her go, and keep how stubborn and endurant she can be in mind for the next time she visits.
sure you could just keep spanking her til she breaks, but I feel like showing her that you can keep things professional can help her see you better.
if you just break her, all your doing is acknowledging her stubbornness.
you want to encourage her to let go of it.
if you can encourage her into choosing to break free of that mindset,
she will be a lot better off and will become a lot more willing to hear you out in the long run.
