Judy came forward and shook her head no, "I'm sorry but she must not eat anything right now, only drink." she nodded at the two officers, "May I have a word with you out in the hallway please?" Once both woman are there, she tells them about the rotten doughnut and surgery little Mei-Ling will have to go through.

Megan looked very concerned and a little shocked but of course they would offer to pay for the surgery actually their insurance would cover it.

Meanwhile Nikki had scowled but re-wrapped the donut, "Okay Mei-Mei lets get outta here." Nikki nodded and pointed at the windows.

The panda shook her head. "I can't Nikki. I tried to get out of bed before and that nurse you saw gave me a spanking for it and she promised me a 'well smacked bottom' if I tried again without her permission."

Nikki looked surprised, being a wolf cub she had not the highest opinions of felines, "Hmph well screw her, what a dummy picking on my lil sis, grrr." She huffed and pet Mei-Ling's head, "Dontcha worry none, I won't let her, we really gotta go now though, come on, I got you like always."

"I think she was right, I got some fair warnings first." Mei-Ling said. "And wasn't mean about me, she just gave me a reason to obey her." She looked at her friend. "And I still don't feel too good, I think I better stay here for now."
