Imagine a fanfic (Or in our RP) Where Greg is on this case and is looking for a man to arrest in this warehouse with his men, but he gets hurt because the criminal hits him hard in the back of the head with something to get away from the police. And Greg recuperates at home (with maybe temporary blindness) while Mycroft helps him with it and stuff and cares for him. WhileSherlock gets pissed off and goes off to find the guy who hurt his brothers boyfriend and friend to beat the shit out of him before sending him to jail! I thought it would be an adorable as hell fanfic despite the drama.

I got an idea in my head. It could be for RP if you like, but it cpuld add some slight drama to it.

It totally is a Sherlock thing to do. And yeah I think Polly would call him that and get him all flustered.

I love how you put how Sherlock usually calls Greg by the right name when nobody is around, but any other time he says it wrong it's with affection.
