Tony Stark was deeply immersed in his work. He knew had a meeting with the Biard, but Pepper could deal with that. He hated meetings. Besides, he had to update his suit, and Clints arrows. Not to mention work on a new repulser for Natasha.

He groaned and leaned back to rub his face. He hadn't slept the night before, but his workload wouldn't do itself.

In the gym, Steve Rogers was vigorously attacking a punching bag. He hadn't seen Tony since yesterday. Steve was starting to worry. Wiping the sweat from his face, he walked over to the bench to take a swig from his water.

Jarvis spoke up "excuse me, Captain Rogers, there is call coming in from Ms. Potts". Steve stared quizzicaly at the ceiling, "let her through".

Pepper paced the corridor outside of the meeting, irritation and worry dialing for dominance at Tony.

"Hey, Steve,' she said, when he answered.
"I'm sorry to bother you, but have you seen Tony? He has a meeting and he needs to be here! He's blown off the last four and the Board is getting annoyed," she said, leaning against the wall.

Steve scrunched his brow, "No I haven't seen him for awhile actually, I was hoping he was with you to tell you the truth". Rubbing the back of his neck " I guess that was dumb of me to assume, he is probably down in the lab" Making his way to the door "I'll go get him, I'll call you back when I have unearthed him".

Making his way down to the workshop Steve tapped on the glass, trying to get Tony attention.

Appeased, Pepper headed back in to let them know Tony was on the way.

Said genius was so immersed in his work that he nearly jumped out of his skin at the knock. He looked over and sighed, seeing his boyfriend. H motioned him in, shoving aside the arrow he was working on.

Steve smiled his frustration dimming slightly because he had missed his genius. Wrapping his arms around Tony from behind, he kissed the back of his neck. Steve scrunched his nose when he smelt Tony "when was the last time you have taken a shower?"

Steve grabbed Tony by the shoulder and turned him around , keeping him a arms length apart so he could get a look at him. Seeing the bags under Tonys eyes brought back the frustration full force. "When was the last time you slept or ate, christ, Tony". Steve breathed in and out, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Pepper called".

"Don't mother me, Steve!" He snapped.

"I have work to do, and Pepper can handle the meeting. I have work for the Avengers."

"Obviously, she can't if she is calling", Steve yelled, trying to calm himself down again. Steve grabbed Tony in a steel like grip by the wrist " Come on your late for the meeting, I'm pretty sure you have caught up on most of any avengers business, you can work on anything else after you have slept, showered and eaten".
