A few days ago, Hugo Brown was at his high school while skipping class like usual. He had no interest in bettering himself and enjoyed the title of being a ‘bad boy’ even if his friends and family didn’t always agree. Today, he was spray painting profanity and inappropriate words all over the side of the school building and the principal’s car. That’s what the pig gets!

Wait... someone’s coming...

Hugo began panicking! If he gets in trouble one more time, he’ll have to go to military school. He has to find someone to take the fall... but who...?

At the present day, Apollo walked into the court house with a sigh. He was a little annoyed to say the least he used to defend accused murders and kidnappers, but now he’s stuck dealing with school drama. A huge waste of his talents if you ask him. “Trucy, what’s the kid’s name?” He whispered, proving how much he didn’t really care about this case as he didn’t do much research.

Trucy bobbed up and down happily with a tilt,"Honestly Polly! You really should be on top of things especially since Daddy's not here...but I heard their name was Pamela Hildren",she says,"Yoooou at least know what they're in for...riiiiiiight?",she asked Apollo,hoping she wouldn't need to remember things for him from now on.

Their client...was actually sitting on the outside waiting bench,in her navy green sweater which her head barely peeked out of. Red hair twirled into a ponytail and a freckled pale face looking curiously at the duo as they talked. Pamela was a seemingly average student, the 'Plain Jane' of the school, not invisible as she hoped for but plain enough that teachers usually missed her...until today of course. She had just been in the wrong spot on the wrong day! Of course her parents believed her but she'd be put in a more juvenile system of court...a court that simply used corporal punishment to serve sentences rather than jail time. Mainly used for teens whose parents agreed to it, it kept alot of young people out of jail and for a while it kept crimes down a bit.

And right now Pamela caught wind of her name from the magician looking girl....wait were those her lawyers? Oh no....

“Pfft! Of course I know! What kind of lawyer would I be if I didn’t know something like that?” Apollo replied as he seemed as confident as even on the outside but on the inside, he was sweating bullets. Maybe I should read the report next time and not lightly skim it...

He had a little bit of an idea of what the girl was in trouble for but he’s sure that will be brought up in detail during the case. “Go ahead and get her, I’ll set up in the court room.” Apollo told her as he walked into the loud, filled court room. It was filled to the brim with students/faculty from the school, members of the press and regular citizens. He got to the defense post and began to pull papers from his brief case.

"Hmmmmm....well I guess maybe a fired one since Daddy wouldn't like that hehe...",she giggled at Apollo's question,"And maybe well sp-Huh? Oh ok! I'll go get her!",she hums happily as she looks at a photo of the girl while Apollo went to get started in court.

No No No oh please no,begged Pamela internally,she asked for lawyer not for a magic show. But yet she conceded to her fate as the bubbly magician started talking...and talking. Pamela could only hope that the spikey haired guy was more professional than her.

As Apollo got everything in order, the seats soon began to get filled and the prosecution team began to get ready on their own side. After a few more minutes, the judge soon made his way to his own seat and sat down before clearing his throat and banging his gavel. “Court is now in session, are both sides ready?”

“The defense is ready, your honor!” Apollo responded confidently before smirking to the other side of the court room and to get a good look at his opponent.

The prosecutor on the other side seemed new possibly with nary a few cases under his belt. He simply tapped his fingers, a smug smile on his face as he chuckles,"The prosecution is ready you honor", he leaned back a bit sizing up Apollo with raised eyebrow. Trucy would soon come in alongside their defendant, the latter taking their place in the defendant's stand and Trucy bounced next to Apollo....well she was Apollo's support. The best support he could have at this time really.

Apollo stared down his opponent, determination in his eyes as he tightened the papers in his hands tightly. He may not be fully invested in this petty case, but his teacher would be very disappointed to hear that he didn’t give his all for his defendant, no matter how insignificant the crime may seem compared to some of the others he went through.

“Well then, the prosecution may call their first witness to the stand!” The judge decreed as he watched both of the lawyers body language intently.

"Ah yes! Our first witness is the young boy to witness the accused running away from the crime scene. Hugo Brown",the prosecutor chuckled as he crossed his arms at his rival across from him.

Pamela shivered as she heard his name Ugh why him of all people? Why him? He just had to 'be' there to see her ,the girl squirmed a bit more uncomfortably in her seat at this.

Hugo came up to the stand dressed to impress with a nice suit and perfectly done hair. He took his place on the stand and shot a quick evil grin and the defendant before focusing his attention back on winning everyone over. He sat obediently, waiting for instructions. Apollo looked through court records, trying to find some into on this boy.

"Witness I ask that you testify what this delinquent has done so that the court can dish out justice",the prosecutor said, his smile twitching a bit when he saw the boy give a nasty grin to Pamela...whom shrunk into her sweater at the sight of him.
