Phillipa was impressed and even a little intimidated by the great size of Perikilis. She hadnīt imagined this animal to be so tall! The girl approached the unicorn warily and almost gulped a little when it turned ist gaze upon her. Phillipa realized Perikilis was suspicious of her and that made her a little sad. She did not dare touch him and instead listened to Adrianos explaining how to treat unicorns. "Hello, I am Phillipa. I am honored to meet you Perikilis.", the teen finally said and managed to smile shyly.

Perikilis was perhaps slightly disarmed by Philipa's polite introduction. Even unicorns aren't perfect in their understanding of humans and can still learn new things, and Perikilis was willing to accept that perhaps his hesitation that he had first carried toward her was not entirely well-placed.
Perikilis of course could not speak, but he gave a sort of nod to Philipa but soon retired to his resting place, and it was getting late so Adrianos simply said, "If you'd like to spend more time with him later, you may, but approach him with respect, and do not try to sneak up on him or remove anything from the stable without consulting with me first."
Not that she had any reason to remove anything from the stable, but it was always good to be safe. The girl had suffered a head wound today and had hiked up a mountain, and Adrianos had hiked up and down the mountain with more cargo than he had anticipated, so he figured that both of them ought to be ready to sleep soon, and he told her that she could sleep in the room next to where she had bathed, and Chloe would once again provide her with any clothes or other things she might need for the money.

Phillipa nodded when Adrianos told her that she could spend more time with Perikilis later and watched how the unicorn went to its resting place. Now it was getting late and the teen was indeed starting to feel tired. Phillipa was very grateful for being allowed to sleep in Adrianos house. She didnīt need anything otherwise at the moment and thus soon went to the room she had been given for now. Phillipa took off her sandals and laid down. It felt great to sleep in a proper bed, which he hadnīt done in ages, even with the bump on her head hurting it was very soft and pleasant. The girl soon drifted off to sleep and did not wake up until it was early morning. She rubbed her eyes and looked around, a little confused at first, before remembering how she had become the guest of Adrianos the scholar. After stretching herself she slipped into her sandals and looked for her host, going back to the dining room she was familiar with at first. Luckily the bump on her head was not hurting that much anymore, but it was still there.

Adrianos had woken up early to do his morning stretches and a few calisthenics, and was now ready for breakfast when Phillipa woke up. "Good Morning!" he said cheerfully seeing his guest. It was nice to have children in the house again, and though he loved his sons very much, it was nice to have a girl in the house for a change too.
He could see that any injuries she had sustained yesterday were either recovered or were quickly on their way to a full recovery. Still, Adrianos was not exactly sure what to do yet. In some ways it made him happy to provide for this girl and let her partake in the luxuries of his house, but he wasn't yet decided on what his next move ought to be. Well, for now, it was time to eat breakfast, so he motioned for his servants to bring some different breakfast items to the table.

Phillipa soon encountered Adrianos and was wished a good morning. "Good morning.", she greeted him back and smiled slightly. She was really starting to like the older man. He had been so good to her. Hopefully he would not send her away too soon, the Girl thought. She watched as the servants brought something to eat and then sat down. At least for now she was still a guest in this house.

They had a pleasant breakfast, and Adrianos asked her a few polite questions as they ate, but he generally did not make a habit of having huge breakfasts in the morning, so before too long he said, "Phillipa, you may explore my property as you please today, I only ask that you respect my servants, respect any creatures that exist here, and if you have any questions about if anything can be used you may ask me or my servants. I must spend a few hours in my study." Adrianos had agreed to write a short manuscript on some local creatures that could be copied by some scribes and sent to other groups of scholars around the peninsula. He figured it should probably take him most of the morning to do so, but he already had a good outline of what he needed to say, so he didn't think it would take much longer than the morning.

Phillipa enjoyed the breakfast and answered each of Adrianosī questions as best as she could. Then she was told that she was allowed to explore the house as she liked while Adrianos was working, as long as she respected the creatures and servants in it. The girl was a little dissapointed that her host was leaving her so soon but didnīt say anything. She just nodded politely and promised to be good while he was gone. When Adrianos left her alone Phillipa at first explored the rooms she hadnīt been to yet, trying to better find her way around the house. When that was finished she went into the garden and looked for something to entertain herself with there. The teen found a huge, old tree and started climbing it, enjoying the view of the property from above.
(I think it might be interesting if they go to the city.)

Adrianos finished up the manuscript he had been writing within a few hours, as he had already started it a few days before, but now he needed to bring it into the city and run a few other errands while he was there, but he thought that Phillipa would probably get bored of having to hang around the property alone all day, and it might be a good chance to see how she interacted with society, and so Adrianos decided to come invite Phillipa along.
Adrianos looked around but finally one of the servants recommended he look up one of the largest trees near his property and soon he spotted Phillipa. He smiled. He had not done much tree climbing recently, but he did know that there was quite a view from up there. He called up, "Phillipa, I've finished with my writing for now but I also need to go into the city today! Would you like to come with me or stay here?"

Phillipa heard Adrianos speak to her from below and smiled down on him. "I think I would like to come with you!", she called and jumped down from atop the tree, landing gracefully next to the old scholar. The girl was quite familar with the streets of the city since she had been homeless basicly all her life. "Where do we Need to go?", she asked curiously, wondering where Adrianos would take her.

Adrianos said, "I need to deliver a few things to the university so that they may be copied and distributed, and then I will stop at the market because I prefer to pick out my own meats." Adrianos was holding several large heavy scrolls of paper under his arm, but he didn't mind carrying that for a while to get to the university. He knew that some of his peers might look down on him for bringing a "street child" around with him, but he had stopped caring about the opinions of pompous individuals some time ago. He enjoyed the girl's company.
