Li took the knife and twirled it around a few times to get a handle on it. Deeming it okay, she nodded to Jayce before going over to the creek and slowly lowered herself in it and began to wash herself.

About a half hour or so later, Jayce returns with fire wood in one hand and a couple of dead rabbits in the other.

Li got out of the creek with water dripping down her body, her once long hair was cut shorter and now barely reached her shoulder.
"I meant to say this earlier...but thanks...for everything..." she mumbled, redressing.

Jayce got started building the fire when she came out of the creek and thanked him. "It's alright, you were in pain and upset and I don't blame you." he understood as he took the flint from her sack and tried sparking a flame. After a few attempts, he managed to catch the wood on fire. He blows the flame gently to get it going and soon enough they had a roaring camp fire. After skinning and gutting, he impales the rabbits each on a stick and sticks them in the ground over the fire to cook.

After she finished redressing, Li when and sat by the fire with Jayce and watched the fire.
"Hm it smells really good...do you mind if I add something to it?" she asked.

Li went over and picked some herbs from the nearby wilderness and some non-poisonous birch mushrooms. Using a flat rock and the dagger, after cleaning everything, she began to cut them up. She spread some of the herbs over the rabbits while they were still cutting and saved the rest for when they were done. She put the rock with the mushrooms on it near the fire and let them cook until they were roasted.
"Now when the rabbits are over, we can have them with some roasted mushrooms and we can put the rest of the herbs on them." she said.

Jayce was impressed. He could smell the herbs blending perfectly with the already delicious smell of the rabbit meat. "Smells good already." After a several more minutes, their dinner was done he takes his rabbit and adds the rest of the herbs as she said, and then took a bite. "Mmm... delicious. You made the right call. Nice touch." he praised, rubbing her back.

Li was tensed at first when Jayce started rubbing her back but after a while she relaxed and was blushing a bit. Turning her head to the side so that Jayce wouldn't see her face, she took a vicious bite of her rabbit.
"Just eat your stupid rabbit..." she muttered, embarrassed.
