The relentless stream of insults from the girl is something he is going to take note of for further study. He doesn't actually owe her an explanation, he decides, and so instead of explaning how he mistakenly picked her just because she lit a cigarette, he adds some more force behind his slaps in the quest to finally make her behave. Or at least shut up.

"That's enough, I don't have to listen to your insults. And you were not supposed to smoke either." He says, mildly aware that smoking was an example of offense where spanking could be utilized on a teenager. Just another reason not to go easy on her...
