Melissa blushed and looked away. "What if...it had?", she asked carefully, not wanting to admit what she found out but not able to hold it back as well.

"I know that you aren't weak, but you can't deny that you are a bit reckless", Steve said, not unfriendly and smiled at her. "I will train you as promised and you will get a good agent, I trust you to become the best agent S.H.I.E.L.D. ever had", he said and sighed at her apologie. "Well...that wasn't exactly polite", he pointed out and looked at her meaningfully. "But I guess I provoked it...I am not good at talking to woman, you should know that..."

Tony frowned and looked at her half worried and half confused. "Explain." his tone was stern, like it usually was before he tanned Melissa's hide.

Emily smiled at his compliment and then shook her head, taking out one of her clean hankies and dabbing at Steve's poor wet face with it. "Steve, you're my mentor and I should be more respectful...." she blushed and looked down. "I-I think punishment is in order....."

Melissa looked at her hands nervously and then back at her boss who looked really stern right now. She sighed and showed him her hand, then closed her eyes and opened them again. She took a piece of bread and then closed her eyes again. The bread started to float over her hand.

Steve sighed. He knew she was right. "Do you mind if I take a shower before that?", he asked and smiled cutely at her.

Tony looked down at her hand and then got confused when she took the bread. "What are you doi-....." he stopped dead when he saw the bread start to hover, oh dear.... "Why did you not tell me young lady?" he asked frowning.

Emily smiled and dabbed at his face a little more, "I don't mind at all Steve....I'll be in the gym." she answered and went back to SHIELDS going in to the gym and doing a workout.

Melissa let the bread fall back into her hand and put it on her plate. "I was scared okay? And you didn't seem like the right person to talk to about this...nobody seemed to be the right person for .... that...", she said unhappily and felt tears welling up.

Steve nodded and went to take a shower. A bit later, as he dried his hair, he went to the gym. "Now, you take a shower. And afterwards you meet me upstairs", he said. He knew there were a few unused rooms.

Tony stood and went over to Melissa, pulling her on to her feet and then wrapping his arms around her. "Melissa, you can tell me anything, you need to believe that....I'm not mad....just a little disappointed and hurt that you didn't trust me." he said softly.

Emily looked over, starting to regret asking for punishment but she nodded, "Yes sir." she answered and then showered before getting dressed, wearing some thick pants and underwear. Then she went upstairs to one of the rooms and thankfully she picked the right one. "...hi..."

Melissa snuggled close immediately, the tears flowing freely now. "I...I'm sorry", she sobbed and looked up at him with teary eyes. "I...thought you would be mad and fire me...", she admitted and continued crying quietly.

Steve, who waited for her, prepared everything and as she came to him, he pointed at a couch. "Have a seat", he said and as she did so he sat down across from her. "I am glad that you asked for your punishment yourself, so I won't be too hard on you. But that doesn't mean that you can do this again", he told her, getting more stern at the last sentence. "Now, let's start. Bare your bottom and bend over please", he said calmly.

Tony shook his head and kissed her forehead, "Hush, I'm not mad, it's alright, and I wouldn't fire you for something like that Melissa." he assured, and then moved to kiss her lips softly.

Emily sat down as she was told and nodded her head when he stated he wouldn't be too hard but that didn't mean much because she had a low pain tolerance. "....O-Over your knee?" she asked, not moving.

Melissa kissed him back, relieved, but the pain in her heart didn't vanish. "I..uhm...Mr. Stark...I think you need to punish me though...", she said shyly and looked down, wanting to kiss him again rather than getting a punishment.

"Do I need to repeat myself?", Steve asked calmly and motioned for her to bend over.

Tony leaned in to the kiss rather hungrily but when she pulled away and said she should be punished, he nodded his head understanding that she must feel guilty for what she had done. "Alright, I'm proud of you for accepting responsibility." he smiled and then took her arm, paying for the meal and going back to STARK Towers. "Go up to my room, and bare your bottom please." he said firmly, glad that Pepper was out.

Emily winced, "I-I was just making sure....I didn't want to do the wrong thing and make you angry." she answered and gingerly pulled down her sweat pants and then her panties, blushing as she did and then bending over the man's knee.
